  • This book used to be perfect, why did they change it?

I’m putting this edit right at the top of my review because they just changed how this book is made, and they changed a key feature. I’ve bought several of these, most recently in August 2024, and it’s no longer a 5-star book. One of my favorite things about it was that unlike other fitness journals, the spiral was the perfect size to keep a pen inside. Now it’s smaller, and my pen doesn’t fit. Now I have to shop for another fitness journal because my pen keeps falling off and it’s super annoying. Having said that, here’s my original review: Yes, there are cheaper fitness journals out there. Spend the extra couple bucks and get this one. On the outside, the cover is perfect - light yet stiff enough for writing on pages while standing - and the spiral is the perfect size for fitting a pen inside. Also, the band doesn't immediately become stretched out and useless like other fitness journals. On the inside, the line spacing is perfect, and it has just the right number of pages to make me feel like I've accomplished something big each time I fill up a book and buy a new one.
