I don’t always take my oculus with me but lately it has been very convenient with the amount I have been traveling and taking it over my friends house for us to have gaming parties. The case is very well made and does provide a good amount of protection for my headset and leaves me with no worries when I pack it away. The one downside of this case is that it fits the headset tightly and does not work well with my kiwi head strap, this requires me to have to remove the strap whenever I am traveling but would work perfectly with the original head strap that comes with the quest. ... show more

Very sturdy case and fits our Oculus and controllers. We don't have a lot of accessories so this is fine. There is also a pouch for wires and charging cable. Great case for travel and to protect our device.

    • Nice Case, if your strap fits....
I wanted to like this case it is really nice and made with quality. My issue seems to be due to 3rd party battery head strap wont fit in case unless I take it every time and that's just not happening. Overall, its a good deal, if your are using oem strap. ^_^

    • Sturdy and spacious case for the Quest 2
The CYDDUP hard case for Oculus Quest 2 is a great alternative to the Meta official case. It has room for the Quest 2 headset, touch controllers, cables, a small extra battery pack, and best of all, my BOBOVR adjustable headstrap and VR Cover padded replacement face cover. Things fit snugly and the case even has a velcro strap inside to help secure the headset down. While the case is not constructed in a way to ensure your headset will be free from damage if it is accidentally dropped, the same can also be said of the Meta case. However, it will keep your headset's lenses protected from sun damage and it makes the headset easy to transport. I do wish it was available in other colors than the base grey, which is not overly appealing, but that is a minor quibble since its functionality is more vital anyway. ... show more

    • A solid, mostly-well made, clever, mildly flawed case.
The good: The Quest 2 fits perfectly and the controllers are very cleverly positioned. The outer fabric and zipper are awesome. This is maybe 60% of the length of the Quest 2 box and only slightly wider, which makes the headset much more portable. The price is fair, the quality is decent and I am very happy with this case. The bad. There are only two issues: 1.) I am putting a microfiber cloth between the controllers and the headset optics because there should be some added layer of protection there. If the controllers shift and start rubbing against the optics that will destroy the headset. This could bee solved with a divider flap or an insert to protect the optics. Anything that can buffer them from a loose controller will do. 2.) I don't like the fabric used on the inside of the case. It smells a tiny bit and the color is kind of gross (it is the color of white stained with sweat). I understand the desire to choose a color that will conceal sweat stains, but a different color (black maybe) would go a long way in making this feel more premium. The outside fabric and zipper are tasteful and awesome, I wish the interior was the same. ... show more

This case provides a nice, compact, way to keep the pieces for our Quest 2 together. If we want to take it anywhere, it will also be nicely protected. Pro Tip: Use a hanger to store it in a closet.

My son has an aftermarket head strap, I think it's the elite one?? But he also has the silicone hand grips on the controllers. I was able to get it all to fit in the case. It does take some maneuvering with the controllers. The silicone helps hold them together though once you get them positioned correctly. The case isn't a hard plastic shell, which actually worked better for the head strap. It did push up on the lid some so the flexibility of the material is what allowed it to fit. You can see in the pic where it's not zipped all the way, that it makes it bulge a little. But not so much that it would break the strap or the case. Because it's not a solid hard shell it won't protect from everything but it provides enough protection for what I want. Overall, I'm happy with this case and worked for the strap and grips we have, but others may have a different outcome or preference. ... show more
