Now that I have finally been able to ride the bike, I can update this review. It is fast! It has good acceleration; better than I expected being a hub motor. According to the bike speedometer, I managed to get it over 50 going slightly downhill and about 46-48 on flat ground. (I am 6ft tall, 200lbs) I have some trails in the woods and have fun it through them with different obstacles including steep ramps and roots/fallen trees which it goes over no problem. Handling is good; I can maneuver in tight areas without much difficulty. I like the pedal assist and throttle options. I think I would rather a full throttle rather than the small one on part of the handle, but that is just what I am used to with motorcycles and dirt bikes; it isn't really an issue, just a slight preference. The bike quality is good. I do have a bit of a squeak coming from the back shock. I gave it some lubricant and is has cleared up some but not fully. I will look more into that later. HappyRun was responsive when talking with them. There were a few times that took two or three days before they responded going back and forth, but one was due to a holiday and the other was due to the rep talking with me being out sick. Eventually after several pictures and videos of testing the battery and charger, etc., they decided that the battery originally shipped was defective at which point they sent me a new one. Original was sent June 14th and I got the replacement on June 30th. All in all not too bad of a response time. I would obviously rather get a good battery to start with, but at least they do stand behind their product. That was one of the reasons that I purchased this over other options. *Original review* So far no good. I received it early which was great. It seemed to be packaged pretty well with sufficient protection. I did like that fedex required a driver's license for delivery since this is a rather expensive bike. Took several hours to put together and was a bit difficult to do without help but doable. The build quality looks good, as far as I can tell without being able to ride it. After I made sure I had everything completely ready, battery charged and everything, I went to turn it on and nothing happened. I am extremely disappointed as I saved up for two years to get this. I really wanted to have fun with this riding by myself and with my kid. I have a very stressful job and very much needed something fun for stress relief. I am currently a week into talking with happyrun support and still waiting on a resolution. I have tested the battery multiple times and sent them pictures and videos per their instructions using a multimeter with the battery on and off. I will update this once I have more info. I really hope they will get my bike working soon and very much hope to change this one star rating soon!

I had this bike for a month and already got error code 8 which means motor failure. I tried to return bike and they said let us send you a new motor and I said ok I’ll try that. They sent me the motor and I can’t fix it myself. They told me to take it somewhere and they would pay for it. I took it a few places and called several places around that would be the only place that would work on e bikes. Nobody will work on it! The bike is poorly made and will continues to have problems. I can’t even use this bike anymore more. Do not buy this bike unless you want complete junk!

This bike is awesome! It was straightforward to assemble, about 30-45 minutes. I have about 150 miles on the bike now. It is very durable and the quality is holding up nicely. I take it mountain trails and it has never had any issues at all. I highly recommend this bike for the price and quality!

Poor custom service from Happyrun. Item arrived with several problems. The battery would not fully charge or hold a charge, horn inoperable, trouble with spokes going through tire, problem with handle bars etc. I was within amazon’s return date for a full refund but Happy run said I could not return it and offered to send me parts. Am still awaiting final decision for return/refund. I called and sent mane message to their customer support team and tgey either did not answer (until I called Amazon) or their mailbox was full. Dry disappointed. Thank you Amazon for your help.

This bike is so fun they should have named the company HappyFun! I wanted to give a in depth review about the things I was concerned about with this bike. It's a long review but in short, I am impressed! The suspension is solid and the adjustments function properly with rebound rate and stiffness on the front and back, just like a motorcycle. Stiffness and rebound rate can be adjusted with a screwdriver on the forks, while the rear mono shock can be adjusted for rate with a screwdriver, and for stiffness by turning the collar with a special tool which will compress the spring to make it more stiff. It came adjusted 3/4 stiffness which is good for my 145 lbs weight. I have jumped this bike and the suspension has not bottomed out yet. The assembly was easy and took about 1 hour. The range is good. I rode it aggressively on the pavement and on dirt trails and still got 45 miles off a full charge. If you ride it conservatively you could probably get 60 or more miles. The customer service is top notch with HappyRun. I had 2 parts that were damaged during shipment and they responded quickly and sent the replacement parts free of charge. This bike is in a class of it's own. You won't find another bike with this power that you can putt along peddling like a bicycle, and then rip it up with high voltage power on the trails. The direct drive motor is silent which adds to the covert nature while providing a top speed of 48 to 50+ mph depending on rider weight. Overall the quality is good. The welds are solid and it has held up to some very hard trail rides with jumps, rocks, roots and small logs. I have about 100 miles on it so far with most of that on dirt trails and no broken parts so far. I highly recommend buying this bike.

and honestly, I’m blown away. The torque on this thing is insane. I’m 6’0” and about 200 lbs, and it still throws me back when I hit the throttle in 5th gear. Hitting 50 mph on dirt trails feels incredibly solid. If you’re looking for that emoto thrill without spending $4,500+, this is the way to go. Just make sure you wear a full-face helmet; this isn’t a toy
