Winch is heavy duty and works great. My only negative comment is the short 3’ remote cord. It is ridiculous for a winch that is going to be suspended from an overhead beam to lift objects many feet off the floor. I bought extra wire and rewired the control for a 13’ control. This allows the winch to be operated from the floor or raised platform. The winch is very heavy and requires and hard to mount but that was to be expected. I made wide brackets to span 6x6 beam for mounting.

itel is awesome no worry on operation. BUT one flaw. i have adjustable crane hoist (GANTRY) when up above7 feet 8 inches the controller get hard to use because of the short cable. so after making the control cable 6 ft longer, to get to safe distance made the operation lot better. like said works awesome no worries except for short controller wire of 5 feet long

Remote control so short, it is actually useless. When I bought it, i swear it said 5 meter or something like that. I is barely 3 feet. It has a lifting height of 30 feet I believe. HOW can you use it if the remote is 3 feet!!!!! I bench tested it as soon as I got it. On the bench it had a grinding and a clunking noise coming from it. I took it apart and found the assembled it with the drum shims in the wrong spots. this caused the wire rope hitch to rub the frame. just running it out and in on the bench 1 time had caused the hitch to be almost completely sheared off. What this means is if you spooled the hoist all the way down with a load on it. there was a great chance for the rope to come off the drum and the load to fall. STUPID dangerous. second the rope that was on it was total junk i cut it with a pair of pliers. I fixed the spool and re roped it with some 1/4" 7,000lb cable. it still made a grinding noise so I opened the gearbox(which all the bolts holding it together were totally loose) and it had no grease in it. I filled it with grease. Since I spent a lot of time rebuilding a brand new hoist I never used it for my emergency job that weekend(we rented one). As soon as I weight test it, I will update this review. I give it 1 stars because when I plugged it in it actually worked.

Posted by B. Heck I first purchased one of these hoist from another company. What a disaster that was. The hoist was sold as a 2000 pound hoist when in fact it would only pick up 1500 pounds. I’m still fighting with Amazon over that purchase. I couldn’t wait so I went and purchased another hoist from HappyBuy. The hoist was as advertised. It picked up the weight it was advertised to pick up and I couldn’t be happier with HappyBuy. They even called to make sure I was happy with the purchase. Great service!!!

Great value in that's its well built, solid and has great power. But only negative is that it has a really short corded hand control under 4 feet long. So unless you mount the hoist on the ground and stand next to it, If you mount up high on something- useless. I bought a wireless unit and added to it, making it work for my use 16 feet in the air. I would have gave it 5 stars in not for the short corded hand control
