Great price for this. The only down side is that the control length could be longer. Very happy with the purchase despite the cord length. Have not had a problem and I'm so happy with it that I've bought two of them so far.

My particular unit did not come with any sort of installation instructions, but is pretty straightforward to install for someone moderately knowledgeable on how these things work. Solid and secure mounting location and adequate hardware to handle the loads that are being lifted is key. It does come with a pulley snatch block which is a very nice addition, and while slowing the speed down by half, you can at the same time hoist twice the load. The only negative that I have after installing and running it through it's courses, is that in my case, the cable seemed to be improperly wound to the cylinder from the factory which created some flat and slightly kinked areas causing the cable to be a bit noisy when under load. I can hear the parts of the cable sort of "grinding" together as the flat portions work around the cylinder. I'll most likely change the cable out for piece of mind, because I view this as something that could prematurely degrade the integrity of the cable even after extensive lubrication......In a nutshell, solid hoist at a great price.....just check the condition of the cable before putting it to use. ... show more

Didn't realize power cord wasn't 14 feet and its only about 6 feet. Easy fix just hadn't expected it. Seems to operate as advertised. C channel Unistrut fits nicely in the mounting brackets. Lifts very quickly for its capacity. So far its been a good purchase!

This thing is awesome! I purchased this unit to use in a Gantry Crane application, giving the ability to lift heavy things from the back of my truck and various other situations. This thing has plenty of power, especially when using a snatch block. The cord for the hand held controls has plenty of length. This unit shipped really quick and was packaged very well. No issues whatsoever!... Only gripe...Trolley accessories do NOT come with this unit, and are hard to find locally so be sure to order the trolley accessories when purchasing this unit! ... show more

,Poorly packaged.....control box on motor broken, had to refasten as best I could.. The leads, both power and control are a joke in length! If they are that cheap, in saving money on a few more feet of wire..... what is the rest of it, in terms of quality.I've got a feeling I took it in the shorts on this one....we'll see. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this hoist for my shop! I got 4’ of track with the roller bearing wheels! Well worth the money very satisfied! I got the wireless remote I wouldn’t buy one without it!
