Features

  • Premium Quality Structure: The whole bench clamp is made of high-quality iron material with high hardness and stiffness. Designed for long-term service time.
  • Powerful Clamping Force: After fine grinding treatment, the surface of the clamp is smooth and flat. Swiveling vise features with the perfectly aligned precision jaw. Maximum clamping force of 24 KN.
  • 360 Rotating Base: Swiveling base increases flexibility when in use. This enables the stationary and stability of workpieces, so they wont move even slightly if much force has been applied by the fitter.
  • High Accuracy Screw: The screw rod connected with a universal handle is made of high strength material which is not easy to deform, wear resistance, and achieves smooth rotation.
  • Wide Application: Precision milling drilling vise, suitable for milling, drilling machine, and precision parts finishing. Most work of the fitters can be completed by using this clamping vise such as sawing, filing, chiseling and some assembly and removal jobs.

  • Absolutely monstrous.
Size: 6 Inch
Bought the swivel 6" for a Tormach 1100M. Almost 8.5" throat with jaws removed. 7" with included jaws. Couple thou lift with jaws installed. Close to none with jaws removed. It's way, way too big, but I'm probably keeping it for the odd large job AND for the swiveling base. Like everyone else says, the edges are razor sharp. I immediately bled 10 minutes into owning this. Edges need knocked down. These photos show it next to a Tormach-branded 5" vise. This thing makes the Tormach vise look like a baby. Looking at the dimensions in this ad, I think even the 5" is bigger. It appears the 4" would be a comparable product, idk. ... show more

  • This vise is a beast!
Size: 6 Inch
So, I accidentally ordered the 6", thinking that was the opening, not the jaw width. This one arrived in all it's massive glory and I was so happy with it that I ordered the 3" as well. When they are completely closed the faces look like a singular piece of metal. It will be great for precision work. You may want to oil the shaft though....stop giggling. It shows up just a little dry, probably to avoid a mess during shipping. The rotation deck on the small one fit well onto the bed of my drill press and shouldn't be hard to adjust by loosening and retightening the included mounting bolts. The 6" is obviously too big for that though. ... show more

  • Good value if you know how to tune it up
Size: 3 Inch
Like any cheap Chinese machined product you’ll need to spend some time on the surface grinder truing up this vise. If you have the skills and equipment for this you’ll end up with a good vise at a low cost.

  • Decent Vise for Mill
Size: 3 Inch
The vise is fairly sturdy, the jaws are hardened steel and they stay parallel through the entire length of travel. I am using this on my WEN milling machine, and so far, it has stayed fastened tight to the table through several small jobs. The height of this vise does reduce my drilling capacity by a bit, so I have it on the end of my table instead of in the middle, so I still have room to use T-Slot Clamps in case I need it. The two things I wish this had was a good detente to lock the vise in the 90, 60, and 45 positions when I am rotating it about its base, and a flat edge for me to reference against the milling table. Other than that, very good for the money. Will continue using. ... show more

  • Not disappointed for the price.
Size: 4 Inch
1) the 4" is a good size for my Jet jmd-18 mill. 2) castings are rough, but the machined surfaces are adequate. It holds evenly across the jaws. The lead screw is smooth, and the jaws don't have a lot of slop in them. 3) the swivel is draggy and clunky, but I suspect non-chinesium fasteners will help with that. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Size: 3 Inch
first thing when it was delivered, I disassembled it to clean all the storage grease off and noticed one of the bolts on the fixed jaw that mounted it to the base was stripped out and the sliding jaw didn't align with the base very well also the fixed jaws height is .0505 lower than the movable jaw so you can forget about moving the jaw plates to the outside position for larger work holding without having to shim it to make a parallel cut that can be fixed by some time on a surface grinder if you have one but the point is when you buy a new tool you shouldn't have to fix it to use it. Save your money and buy a Kurt or another high-quality vise you will be $ ahead. ... show more

  • Was a very good purchase. The seller was great, followed up and asked for my review of the product
Size: 5 Inch
I did a lot of research and looking around before I settled on this particular vise. I put a lot of credit into the reviews that others wrote about their experience with all the vises that I looked at, with this vise having the most favorable reviews. With that said I received exactly what I expected, It has great down force, a good finish and operates smoothly. I knew from others reviews that the corners would be sharp and needed to be stoned and there might be some casting voids. There were a couple underneath that were not a cause for concern. The other thing I expected and it makes no sense as to why the mfg of the vise would do this, is a raised pad where the indicator mark should be for the degrees of rotation. No mark and the pad is raised 1/8" of the surface of the degrees marks. even if the mark would have been there it would have basically been useless as the surface was to high to get a good read. This surface needs to be lowered and a indicator mark added. Other than that a great vise. ... show more
