I purchased this as it was priced right and seemed to be what I needed to load and unload my generator in my pickup. It arrived quickly, however UPS dropped it on the End bell and broke it. I contacted the seller to get replacement part rather than returning. Parts had to come from China. Not good! But, but with in a week and half I received new cover and a new fan. They contacted me several times to make sure I was not forgotten. Very impressive!! The hoist works great. So far great value and excellent service. Great job! I think I will get a couple more.     • I lit better than i thought for the price
First of all yes the controller is little to short but could care less about that since im useing it in a shed, second one of threaded holes at the bottom where not threaded lucky i have a tap and diy set so for review i put it on my ceiling to lift my customers motorcycles while i work on them so far iv had this motor for about 7 months now its still going strong the heaviest bike iv picked up with this is 550lbs and this pulled it up no problem and i mounted it to a roller rail to i can move bikes across my shed very nice i do put lithium grease on the cables once a months so keep them from breaking from rubbing and tangling so far i love this wintch take care of it and it wont break ... show more

Cord and control is too short, and mounting using the unistrut trollies isn't the best. The holes are on the edges of the frame, and doesn't center the weight . I used 2 and mounted them on opposite corners.

Packed very poorly for a 34LB item. Did not work right out of the box. I spent a good deal of time getting the tape off of the wire rope. Ridiculous!! The seller made attempts to rectify the situation but I have no desire to jump through hoops to make a simple, brand new product work. No offense to the seller. ... show more
