Saved this kit for a rainy day with my two daughters (6 and 4) and they had a blast. I skipped the included glue and used Aleen's Clear Gel Tacky Glue with great results. The included shapes are varied and everyone got what they wanted. Since only two girls did the project, we have enough for another rainy day. I'd say this is really good for four kids. Quality is iffy, but I got this really just to burn a few hours.

This is such a fun activity for a couple of kids to do together. It comes with everything you need. This was a great addition to our recent play date and of course of all the girls had a great time playing with their wands afterward.

The kit comes with fun cutouts, ribbon, and jewels for the fairy wands, my 4 yo has been loving making it. I would advise to get your own glue, the glue it comes with does not work at all. I had a lot of the jewels keep falling off.

the kids love it! it comes with 5 wand kits and endless options on how to make them! each design has a front and back and lots of jewels to decorate with! the sticks are wooden, nice and sturdy and we still have left overs to do them again on another day! the kids have been using the all day

Cute, has relatively simple instructions (our 5 year old needed a little help, but that's to be expected). Only issue is that the glue takes forever to dry, but you need it for the rhinestones since the sticky backing came off of some rhinestones. I'd still recommend it for the price!

This is so cute. Glue is included but we found it absolutely unnecessary. Everything stuck really well. Toddlers will need some help, older kids will be able to handle it just fine. The little gems are just too small for little hands. The bigger ones are a little easier. Lots of really cute bases, and they adhere quite firmly to the sticks. Also comes with a nice assortment of ribbons. Feel free to supplement with your own if you want, but there are plenty there. The only thing that would have made this better is if the sticks were colored. We let Little make one with the wooden stick, but we are painting the rest before making the rest. (No judging Little’s design!) Update: we have discovered that the glue is necessary sometimes, and especially if wand waving gets a little wild. 😀

This Make Your Own Fairy Wands Kit comes with a good assortment of pieces. The instruction book shows how each wand should be put together and then there are additional pieces for decorating. You can decorate following the instructions or do your own decorating. My seven year old grand child was excited to try out this kit and wanted to make wands for friends. Child chose the cloud one. However, once child made the first wand and struggled to match up the front and back pieces, child was done. The ribbons are all bent from being folded up and could not be straightened out – maybe if they were ironed they would look like the pictures. Since the kit makes 5 wands, it would be a good party activity with one for each child and maybe some adult help to match up the pieces.

I don’t know why I thought these wands were made of felt but I did and…they’re not. Instead you make a wand from sticking the small wooden dowel in between two identical glittery card stock stickers. It still works and the kids are having fun but it wasn’t what I was expecting. Bonus points for the additional details like ribbons and jewels and for the fact that this is a craft that kids can actually DO by themselves!! Cute and a decent price point!
