I bought the first set about 20 months ago and the last one just died. That's not a bad run. I have 6 of them just floating on my pool and they are quite vibrant and mesmerizing, especially when there is a light wind and they are all "synchronized swimming". Or maybe I'm just easily amused. LOL On sunny days, they stay lit well into the wee hours of the night. Instead of throwing them away, I repurposed the dead balls (sounds worse than it is. 🤣) by cutting them in half and putting them in coconut husk hanging baskets (for plants) to help retain water and that's been working amazingly well. Water basically runs through the unlined coconut husks but with these plastic domes in them, water stays in the soil and my plants stay happy. At first he wasn’t too excited about them, but he inflated them and put them in the pool to charge. Once nighttime hit, he was out there taking pictures and just watching them float around the pool.
