This shelf was the perfect size for the shallow nook I needed to fill in my bathroom and I loved the price. Installation - I was super nervous after reading reviews that I wouldn't be able to figure out how to put it together. I will confirm that when I first opened the box there were tons and tons of pieces that made me question life decisions. But I spread everything out and went to work. It took about 2 hours on a weekend morning with regular coffee/stretching breaks and I got it together without issue. My main advice is go slow and really pay attention to the orientation and holes shown on the instructions. I felt the instructions were fine. Take all the wood pieces out of the box and spread them out - most will have numbers on them. Make sure you keep all the screws and pieces in their labeled baggies and just cut open the tops - you will need to know their part number to coincide with the instructions. I was able to put it together with just a Phillips and a Flathead screwdriver but I didn't use the wall mount - a drill would have been needed just for that part. I had one annoying issue in that the little circle sticker labels for the parts all faced outwards on mine and left a residue when removing. Also, if I screwed anything too tight the boards would split a little - not surprising considering the cheaper cost of this, but just something to keep in mind. Shelf itself - It's really a great size for a shallow narrow space and has a really good amount of storage. I put it in the corner and am not using the wall mount as it stands sturdy on its own. Assembly is fairly simple even though there's a million pieces. I'd say it's "ikea-adjacent" in terms of instructions and hardware pieces, except that it's one level up in that every piece is well labeled. Once assembled, it works well to pack lots of storage into small spaces.

We have not finished our small bathroom remodel job yet but this will be perfect for that space. As you can see, we replaced the inferior, plastic legs with some small wooden bun feet that we had from an old cabinet. I painted them white and they look great. (The manufacturer should consider better feet for this cabinet.) I am an older retired lady and I put this together by myself in one day. No written instructions, just step by step pictures which suited me just fine. On Amazon I found a 6 piece set of drawer organizing trays that are 6.6"×6.6" that are perfect for the open shelves. After moving it into the finished bathroom, I turned one of the open shelves into a TP holder. It works great in our small area. ... show more

The instructions for assembly were really lacking....only drawings. If I had not assembled something similar within the last 6 months, I would have been really at a loss. But the finished product is sturdier and looks better than I had anticipated. I am very pleased with it!
