I opened the box, unwrapped the topper, spread it out and let it “breathe” for 36 hours to get rid of the chemical smell. The topper ‘fluffed up’ as well. When I slept on it for the first time last night it was a noticeable difference from the previous nights sleep. Is it perfect, no, but it is less expensive than a new mattress and will meet my need for now. Is it perfect for everyone, no. Be sure this is what you want because I doubt it is returnable especially if you wash it and/or follow some suggestions noted in other reviews. If you are not willing to risk the loss of funds then buy a new mattress. But agin, there is no guarantee there either.

It is well made, did not notice any cooling effect but with a sheet on top, that might take away from that effect. It adds comfort and raises the bed a little bit. We liked it!!

Being a senior citizen on a VERY tight budget, when making a purchase, I research the hell out of it, read tons of reviews THEN I make the right choice! We bought a camper and I was looking for 2 mattress toppers for eye camping mattresses. The reviews were good, the price was now right due to a "limited" Amazon sale so I bout 2. One full size and one king sized and was ready them go! I followed ALL instructing but letting it "puff up" for 48 hours! I made the bed and waited till nightfall to go check them t out. WHERE IS THE "Sleeping on a cloud" sensation? Where's the thick lushness and cooling gel that will lull me to sleep? Instead of the sensation of 'sleeping on a cloud' I had the sensation of not being able to move from pain and stiffness throughout my body and felt as if I slept on the ground! Thickness? PLEASE! This "mattress pillow topper" isn't even an inch and a half thick! DO THE MATH! My dinner napkin is thicker than this! I make around $750 a month on SSI and contemplate each and every purchase that I make. This product is useless. Save your money and buy something else. This is NOT what your looking for if your looking for a REAL mattress topper so shop wisely! DEALING WITH THIS COMPANIES CUSTOMER SERVICE: AFTER FOLLOWING THE TOPPERS INSTRUCTIONS TO A "T", the company is telling me to air fluff it, lay cardboard on it for whatever reason and here is the clincher....after complaining to them that this topper isn't what they claim and how ripped off this senior citizen feels after spending 1/3 of my monthly SSI on 2 of these, told me to take my 2 mattress toppers and BAKE THEM IN THE SUN!!!! YES!! YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!! TAKE THEM OUTSIDE, AND BAKE THEM IN THE SUN!! I am the full time caregiver to my twin sister, take care of my husband who just suffered 3 strokes in March and my family of 9, and after following THEIR instructions to no avail, am told to go BAKE my toppers. Be warned. Save your hard earned money and shop elsewhere. ANY reputable business would do RIGHT by their customers, not blame them and have them do nonsensical things to get their products to work! ZERO ⭐⭐⭐ if I could!!
