I'm not sure if I put this mattress pad on upside down or rightside up. I think the egg crates are pointing down. It doesn't matter because this is hands down one of the most comfortable things I've ever purchased. Our new, expensive mattress was just not very comfortable. Before buying a whole new mattress I wanted to try one of these for a last ditch effort. There were lots of choices and I wasn't sure which one to purchase after lots of research, and eventually went with this one. We are a few months into sleeping on this and we are getting the best sleep of our lives. It is TOUGH to get out of bed every morning, that is the only downside. I'm just nervous that over time, it will need to be replaced. So far, so good.
