Piss poor quality would be an improvement to this product. Got it in the end of April and I could tell while putting it together that it wasn't all that great but I wasn't expecting much for the price and I had only gotten it to keep my mid sized chicks... by the end of May the egg box had fallen apart. We had an urgent situation where we needed a second coop for a couple hens and this was the only thing that could ship soon enough. I am not sure I could recommend this coop for any use outside of an emergency. The roof is very difficult to assemble correctly. tTe flat portion of the cross-panel bars have to go to the top. That isn't apparent in the instructions. The roosting bars are too low, your chickens will sleep (and poop) in the nest boxes instead. The material overall is extremely thin and drafty. If you live in Florida, this may be okay for you. If you're in Chicago, forget about this and spend the money on an OverEZ. It could fit two, maybe four full sized hens if you have a much larger run or free range. I wouldn't stick one chicken in the timy run that comes with this. The ramp/door on the side is held shut by a joke of a splinter-like piece of wood. This is not at all a secure coop. A racoon or basically any predator could easily break in. I have this in a much larger secure run as an "emergency coop." Overall, my advice is to keep looking and pass on this coop. ... show more

I bought this before it had any reviews because it was one of the very few options with a low ramp. Our rescue hen has trouble walking so jumping or climbing are basically no go's for her. I needed something that was low and easy for her to navigate to get inside, and this is perfect. The roof was a little tricky to get together properly. The run is a little small and iffy too. But we have this set up inside a bigger inclosure so our girls aren't cramped inside. We covered the run and hung their food in that area. We've had snow storms and rain and I haven't noticed any leaks. All in all, I would say this is great if you have 2 or 3 chickens. I wouldn't house more than that in there. How it would preform on its own against predators, I don't know. ... show more

The design is awful. The ramp swells up and won't close. The staples missed the wire, staples way too far apart, living room for predators to easily invade. The bottom of the resting boxes feel through when the hensb tried to set in them. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
