Worked fine for what I needed it for, which was measuring a plot of land frome one point to the other. Anything more than that I cant say.

I liked it because it is compact and easy to carryand use! First I thought that I was wrong but getting my location with this instrumen fails always, I compare with other GPS measures in IPhone, Note9 and Galaxy 23ultra using most online apps for GPS and all 3 shows exact same position every time, but the little handy instrument with 12-16 satélite connections is 10-15 miles off every time...it is garbage and I do not recommended this product to anyone!

Good accuracy, but the signal strength screen is different from what is shown in the manual. Individual signals have the letter L, G, or B. I’m guessing it’s for Gps, gLonass, and Beidou but IDK. Little hard to see in the photo

This is a VERY simple to learn device, in fact, it comes with no instructions. It does 2 things - it will measure the length of a path you walk / drive / ride or it will measure the AREA you walk / drive / ride. You will need to set the time in UTC then + or - for where you are. For example, Houston, TX is UTC-5. Now, all the log files will have the day/month/year and then Time of Day. If this is wrong, it's nearly impossible to reconstruct what you have measured. I use this to measure how long a driveway is, how much water frontage a lot has, and how long a road is, etc. I also use it to figure out the area of a lot/parking lot/pasture and even get the size of a shop, building or back yard patio. For less than $100, I am very impressed with what it does. It uses GPS and GLONASS for super accurate measurements. It's much easier to use this for job estimates like doing mowing jobs, hay bailing, fencing, etc.

A very handy tool to measure field, yard, garden, property sizes. Easy to use and lets you determine where you'd like your property lines to be before the actual surveyers come out to make it official.

This worked OK, until the screen just went (don't carry it around in your pocket?). There are a few things worth pointing out. It needs to be on and in one static place for a few minutes before giving a good reading. Watch the numbers until the least significant digits settle down. They will *always* be bouncing around as there are more digits than really necessary for the accuracy that this provides. After a while, it should report about 1.5meter accuracy, which is as good as a handheld will ever give you. You should be able to spend less time at subsequent points as you move around. Do not turn it off between measurements. My guess is that it will do better with the antenna bump pointing up, but I'm not sure (worth trying both ways). To measure distances only requires a few clicks which you will get used to. Given the issue with the screen going on mine, I will choose to get a different brand, if I could find one with good accuracy and reviews (and similar price range)...
