Although it doesn’t have a huge screen or color screen, it is small enough to fit in your tackle box and it’s easy to use, I though the instructions were decent. I was able to load the batteries and set up what functions to use in a few minutes. If you are looking for a value, something that works, buy this. If you want to drop triple the cash for something that does the same thing, then go ahead. Maybe if I owned my own boat I would spend more on the larger screen ones. But for a week fishing trip every year where I use the resorts boat and motor, this will do just fine. Only knock on it is I wish it came with a suction cup mount, instead off just the permanent mount. ... show more

It seems to work ok but I have had to replace the batteries every time I use it. The cost of using this is way up now.

Recently purchased this portable fish finder to use on my fishing kayak! It works great! It tells you how deep the water is where you are fishing and let’s you know if a tree or anything is beneath your boat! It has a light on the screen as well! You can set the sensitivity from low to medium to high with a little alarm that will go off when the fish are coming! It shows size as in small, medium or large and works like a champ! Love it!     • It is a little inaccurate while paddling fast.
This fish finder is perfect for the kayak it showed up on time. It works just as I expected I would definitely purchase this item again if I break the one I have. I would post a photo of mine but there's no mean what you see is what you get and it works just as they claim the only negative thing I can say is when you're paddling fast you get false reading on fish but once you start drifting the readings become accurate again. ... show more
