These alarms are amazing! I mean, they are extremely loud; you can hear them down the street. Works well on my sliding door and front door. They two parts do not have to be perfectly flush to connect with one another, a small gap is fine. I would absolutely buy these again and will buy more for my windows.

Peace of Mind
Size: 4 Pack
Color: White
I bought these just in case we needed them for my mother who is onset dementia. I just held on to them, didn't want her to think they were because of her so didn't want to put on till had to. Few months later, in middle of night she decided to get up and put the cat, food bowls and cat box(which is a chore to move) all out on lanai for no particular reason(he doesn't ever stay out there at night). As soon as my dad told me that, I went right over with the alarms. They only turn them on when they go to bed. They are LOUD! Luckily, they haven't been set off due to my mom, my dad has forgotten about them and set them off. It gives us all peace of mind that she isn't going to stroll outside in the middle of the night and us not possibly realizing it till hours later. Installation easy, if you do set off by mistake, just shut the door instead of trying to get turned off on the alarm. Did have to hang a couple upside down to get the magnetic strips to be side by side, but not a big deal, this was due to how the door frame on a couple of doors. Plus just totally a great, easy and cheap safty item to have no matter what.

Updated 6/2020 works as expected & loud too. uses battery size,..
Size: 2 Pack
Color: White
Update 6/11/2020 - it would be five stars but the adhesive used on these is not good at all. within a week i was picking up pieces and putting them back up. i ended up buying gorilla mounting tape to keep them in place. that is why i went from five to four stars. with the way things are in the world right now i was concerned about being a rural target for thieves. while we have cams all around the property i still was concerned about the contents in our barn. i do not have power to it and needed a battery powered option. i was not looking for something to alert me but to scare a potential intruder away. later i can always look at the vid feed or capture to see what went on. the pair of alarms come almost ready to use. after opening the package slide the door off the bottoms. inside you'll see each is powered by four LR44 batteries. there is a thin piece of plastic you'll need to pull out so the batteries make contact. after you have done that next look to the side. there you will see a button that you set to either 'off' 'chime' or 'alarm.' fyi the so called chime to my ears is more like a muted alarm not like a door chime at all. they come with two pieces of double stick tape. i have used that type before and have never had good luck with it. instead i used my own mounting tape but to each their own. i put one on the barn door and the other on our double gate. having those extra layers of security helps me sleep better. we've never had an issue out here not in my lifetime anyway but with some folks getting desperate but better safe than sorry. for a little more than what a cup of starbucks coffee costs i was able to get two of these. they work just as expected and are as simple as can be to put in place. be it indoor use or outdoors i wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to others.

Excellent and Easy to Install
Size: 4 Pack
Color: White
This alarm system was very easy to install, and it works exactly as expected. The alarm is loud enough to alert everyone in the house if a door or window is opened. It’s a great, affordable way to add extra security without complicated wiring or professional installation. Great value for the price!

Small, Light, Loud, and Convenient!
Size: 2 Pack
Color: White
I purchased these alarms for my parents' bedroom door; my father's memory isn't what it used to be and Mom was being kept up at night worrying about his wandering while she was asleep. So far I've only used one unit, but tested both and they work well. The "main" alarm sound is quite loud and I was concerned it would be too frightening if it went off unexpectedly (and requires someone to find the tiny on/off switch to silence it), so the unit I'm using is set for the "chime" sound; it's plenty loud without being obnoxious or frightening, and it's nice that it simply chimes and then is quiet again until the door is closed -- which also automatically re-arms the alarm for the next time the door opens. I had some concerns about mounting the alarm on the bedroom door because the frame has some fluting carved into it and there's a definite gap between the top of the door and the frame. However, I found a spot close to the hinge side of the door where door & frame lined up nicely, and even with nearly 1/4" space between the alarm and its magnet there have been no problems. The one negative is that I had assumed some form of double-sided tape or hook-and-loop fastener was included, but the package contains only the two alarm units (batteries ARE included) & instructions. I used a long, thin piece of tape to attach the magnet to the door frame and two small pieces of tape on the back of the alarm to attach it to the door and so far all is well. I had to get a little creative with the shape of the tape for the magnet because there was so little flat area on the door frame, and used 2 small bits of tape for the alarm box because I didn't want to cover the sticker with instructions for replacing the batteries. (It uses a stack of small "button" batteries, included.) Both the alarm & magnet are so light that very little tape is needed to hold them in place. Both my parents have commented that this little alarm is working without a glitch, and were relieved to learn they didn't need to worry about having to find the tiny on/off switch in the wee hours of the morning if it's kept on the "chime" setting. Even better, it's one less worry to keep Mom awake at night, so we're all happy with the product.

A true comfort when you own a pool and have children. It may be loud, but you will never not know if a child goes outside!
Size: 2 Pack
Color: White
We recently moved into a house with a swimming pool in the backyard. One that did not have a fence around it when we first moved in. At the time we had 2 children under the age of 5. ACK! Horrifying. We kept a close eye on them, of course. But bad things happen....all too quickly! One morning I walked into the kitchen to set something down, heard what sounded like a door close and turned around and my youngest was nowhere. I walked outside...no where. Kept yelling and yelling...no where. After what seemed like ages, and waking my husband in a total panic, he walked up from our basement area saying he'd left a toy there the previous day. That was it...I started looking on Amazon to see what I could get the fastest and would work the best. These easy to install alarms fit the bill. I ordered. Later that day I mentioned to my husband what I'd purchased. He was very concerned about quality and effectiveness at the low price. I told him I had to do SOMETHING and the reviews were good. Then they arrived. My 15 year old son put them up for me. They are PERFECT! My husband had to admit it. We can hear the chime from anywhere in the house or even around our yard outside. We KNOW when anyone comes out that door. There is no way to adjust volume, only turn it off or on. They scare visitors to our home, but as soon as I mention our pool and that when we first moved in there was no fence (there is now) to keep them out of it....everyone understands. Parents that come with their children appreciate it. They get it. Most everyone does. We've had this nearly a year now and no battery changes or problems. I truly appreciate the manufacturers and the comfort this product brings to us on a daily basis!

HUGE little GADGET... EXCELLENT CHOICE!!!!
Size: 2 Pack
Color: White
Product Review: This tiny gadget carry’s a BIG PUNCH! Don’t let the size fool ya! It definitely gets the job done, as I have a huge place and can not hear the back garage door, open from downstairs. ITS LOUD! I love that I can turn it off & on if I need to, otherwise it’s loud enough to annoy you if the door has to open/close too much. It’s only a few days old, so I’m not quite sure about the battery life yet. Also, the photos make it look like a perfect and easy installation & it’s is! However the photos make the two pieces appear to be leveled and flush with the door/window frame. We all know doors & DOOR FRAMES aren’t flush for practicality (especially in newer homes). So your mount may not look like the AMAZON photos (realistically) BUT IT WILL WORK... If you’re like me, once you open the package, with the small two pieces & double sided tape... it’s self explanatory, THUS ENTER THE DOOR FRAME LOL. ”MY” mount is not even nor is it flush, but it works. As long as your arrows line up (on the 2 pieces) & they are clearly marked; you’re good. You have about 1/2 inch of wiggle room to make sure door opens & the magnet mount makes contact with the device mount. I had to do it 3 times because I wanted it too appear even & pleasing on the eyes. God help me LOL. Amazon Customer Service: The original order tracking was marked delivered in mailbox per my USPS carrier. However it wasn’t there. I had no idea what happened. I called Amazon. They replaced it the next day with NO HASSLE, simply on my word. To me, that’s worth mentioning! Turns out it was delivered to the model home in my subdivision. I found it & it’s on its way back to AMAZON! This was an EXCELLENT transaction! I’m pleased with the product, SUPER IMPRESSED with Amazon CS & learned my USPS carrier isn’t that bright, but I’ll give him/her time as the area is new. Thanks for reading.
