Better than the set at my local Costco and with the Black Friday sale, at a better price. No biggie that there's 's oil on the handles and a bit on the rubber of the dumbbell. A quick wipe down with soapy water with Dawn in it, then wipe down with clean water followed by drying with a towel and problem gone. The handles are comfortable and provide a firm grip with the knurling. Consider the stand for show and storage. Buy the set for the dumbbells. The stand is solid, but as other reviewers have noted, it's a PIA to access the dumbbells. Again, not a problem because I take out the weights I want when working out and set them on a flat surface. It's easy to DIY a better stand if you want. I'm hopeful that the rubber will hold up long-term in my home gym. There was some smell but just let them air out for a while the smell goes away. Overall, I like the convenience of The separate weights and hexagonal shape. Good for halos, push-ups, and as you probably know,, just general utility.

Excellent customer service. We received one too many of one weight set and were missing one of another size. The company worked to make it right and we received the correct replacements within a couple of days. We have not opened the stand box yet since it is a Christmas present (and the one box suitable for wrapping), but the weights are very nice.

this was the second set of weight i bought, this one was a xmas gift for a family member. the weight them selves are great. the issue i have is the rack, the rack works but there is some interference with other weights when removing or placing weights into the rack. the rack simply doesn't supply the best space. this second purchase, was missing the (2) 35lbs. weights. i emailed the supplier and they responded within 36 hours. the process was very simple, i just needed to supply a couple photos and the missing weights were on there way. the customer service was extremely responsive and very helpful. some of the best i have had online.

The dumbbells are very sturdy. Good value of the money. However the rack is very tight, meaning the 30 lbs dumbbells are very close to the set that is above it and vice verse. I have to use two fingers to lift out or put back into the rack. It is possible to smash your finger if you're not paying attention. Overall, for the low price I would recommend this set, even though I do not have a 20 lb set. My mistake for not reading the details.

The BEST customer service I have had in a very, very long time! Specifically, Elisa, whom I recently worked with after I made an address error in my account and identified my error several days after it had already been dispatched and sent through the mailing system. I contacted the Handbode Customer Service department and Elisa helped me by connecting with Fed Ex several times to re-route my delivery to the correct address. Elisa also emailed me daily to let me know her findings while attempting to correct my error. I received everything in the mail and am super happy with the product. But even more than that I am beyond grateful to work with a company that has such incredible customer service. Seriously, this kind of service is hard to find and the barbells and rack are exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Elisa and Handbode! You have made this customer very happy! 😊
