  • Easy to assemble, good size
Style: Green 98"x49"x75" 2 Tier 12 Shelf
Giving it 5 stars right now. Will update after this fall and next spring to see how it holds up against the Wyoming winds (which will usually blow 30-40 mph with gusts to 65 mph during the spring). My greenhouse arrived in a box twice the size of the box it was packed in. No damage to the box. All the pieces were there and in good condition. And my package even had instructions. Very simplistic instructions, but if you've ever played with tinker toys, erector sets, even lincoln logs, you should have no problem following the instructions. All the parts were marked. I set it up inside of my living room to make sure everything was there and in working order. I will only be using this in the spring and the fall as a season extender. In the spring to start seedlings, and in the fall to extend the plants I'm growing in buckets. Set up was easy. Even with the help of a 6 year old, it took me a total of 45 minutes to set up. No tools needed, just a firm grip and a little muscle work (note: don't super tighten the pieces until you get it all put together). If everything is tight enough, the shelves sit on the rack easily, although I could see using some zip ties to make sure they stay put. Seems pretty sturdy for the price. I will be using weights on the lowest shelves and probably even tie the top to a weighted bucket set in the center for when it's windy. The cover slipped over the frame easily, not too tight. I unzipped the door all the way and then slipped it over from front to back. I bought clear Gorilla tape to repair seams in the future. At 7200 ft elevation, the cover will probably degrade really fast from the UV rays, but that's to be expected when not purchasing something that is UV resistant. Lots of space inside. Enough that I will be setting up the 4 shelf unit that I have and placing it in the back (Had that one for 4 years, the cover finally died this spring....instead of trying to find a cover for that one I just decided to buy something big enough where I could put it inside of it, same company) Only complaint is the skirt on the side near the ground is not a long as the picture appears. ... show more

  • Holy crap I can afford a greenhouse
Style: Clear 29"L x 56"W x 77"H 3 Tiers and 6 S...
I found this while looking up instructions for making a simple greenhouse out of tarp and wooden rods and came across an ad for this. This may actually be less expensive, and is certainly less trouble, than the makeshift thing I was planning that my neighbors would have hated anyway. I have a small deck that I use to grow a small container garden and I wanted a way to keep those plants going through the winter. I've got some space by windows inside but there were still going to be plants literally left out in the cold. This is perfect for what I need. It holds all of my not-winter-hardy plants and I may even be able to keep some of them alive all year (I'm not the greatest gardener, but I love trying). It takes up just a corner of my deck and was easy to zip-tie to the railings (you will want this tied down - it only weighs fifteen pounds without plants). It took less than an hour to construct and move my plants in. "Walk-in" is a bit of a stretch of a description considering that it's only about two and a half feet front to back, but you can stand up in it (makes it easier to build) and you can reach everything from the front door, which makes it easy to water everything. I hadn't even considered buying a greenhouse because I assumed I wouldn't be able to find anything that I could afford. This is less expensive than some of the tabletop greenhouses I had seen in stores, and they wouldn't have been able to fit any of my plants! This isn't something that you would find in a botanical garden offering tours and wine tastings, but it is attractive, easy to assemble, and works well for those of us with a terracotta pot collection and a small amount of space. ... show more

  • but was actually not too bad to assemble (with two people)
Style: Green 117"L x 67"W x 83'"H 2 Tiers and 1...
This looks very daunting when you open the box, but was actually not too bad to assemble (with two people). The cover was extremely hard to get on & ended up with a small tear in one of the seams. The stakes were worthless. Not long enough & wouldn't stay in the ground. We had a bit of wind come in about 2 days after we put this together & due to the tear in the seam, the wind was able to get into the greenhouse. This was a MAJOR problem. I ended up putting duck tape on all seams. The zipper came apart so I taped it, also. I spent 3 hours trying to secure it & it eventually just took off like a hot air balloon, ruining all of my plants. The frame also bent when it came apart. We contacted the company because there is a warranty, but they said because wind was involved they wouldn't do anything. I couldn't seem to make them understand the wind wouldn't have been a problem if there had not been a rip in the cover. They finally said if I would take pictures of it they would send me a new cover but that wouldn't have done anything for me since the frame was broken, too. I got disgusted & tired of dealing with them (which I'm sure is what they wanted!) So, basically, it would take moving heaven & earth to get them to stand by their warranty. I just threw away the money the greenhouse cost me & about $1200.00 worth of plants, plus an afternoon putting it together and an afternoon trying to keep it on the ground! This is a nice idea but a TERRIBLE PRODUCT!! DON'T BUY IT unless you can honestly say you never have as much as a breeze where you live. It won't last!! ... show more
