Unfortunately the details of the dimensions of this hammock were not very clear on the description as well as how this could hang on a hammock stand. After a bit of research I felt safe enough to order this for my 15 foot hammock stand. I receieved the package within the promised 3 days. Once I opened it up to see the beautiful colors and quality of the hammock, I knew I would be pleased. I took it out to put it on my hammock stand and realized that while I layed on it, my back almost hit the ground. I needed a jumbo size so that while my wife and I are laying in it, it gives my three boys the option to join us, without having to worry about it breaking. I contacted the company, which they were very helpful and expedient to solve my problem. They mentioned how to knot each end which will shorten the hammock to my desired length. They even emailed me pictures of what it should look like. I went outside and followed their directions and it worked perfectly. Now my wife and kids can enjoy how comfortable this is. I used to have a thick knoted American style hammock and it was extremely uncomfortable. That is why I gave this a shot. I would compare the body support to that of a LoveSac. It supports every part of your body and is really easy to move around in. I highly recommend this as you can use it to tie to post, trees or use a 15 foot hammock stand. UPDATED: 09/18/12: After enjoying my hammock less than ten times, the strings have started to break, which once one string goes, the rest start going as well. I even bought a protective after market sleeve for the hammock which covers the whole thing. It should have lasted for at least 5 years with that, but it shows shows the poor quality of this product. I contacted the company and sent photos, but have not heard from them since. I'm really hoping they stand by their product, but so far it doesn't look that way. Be careful, read more reviews. I wish I had a better, more positive story to share, but I do not. UPDATED: 12/13/12: The company finally got a hold of me after sending them pictures twice. During our conversations they were very understanding of the situation and sent a new hammock. It arrived quickly, just as the original order did. This happened about two months ago. I've only used it a couple times, but now I store it indoors when I am not using it, although I did have a cover for it, I'd rather protect it further. The hammock is very comfortable, but we will see if it durable this time around.

This is a Beautiful Hammock, but the Jumbo Size is a bit Overkill, and I'm usually all for that, but this was kind of Needlessly Overkill, If you notice... the couple in the photo are lounging nicely together the sideways way, however their heads are lower to the ground then their feet, which is fine if you don't mind all of your blood running to your head. My wife and I ended up trying to lay opposite ways, which is also fine if you don't mind feet next to your face, and you weigh the same. We added our 10 year old slender son on the other side and that basically manages to crush whoever is in the middle. Also fine if your not in the middle. I bought this hoping to get my family of 5 (all slender) the sideways way "comfortably", we pretty much maxed out or wimped out at 3, and that wasn't really "comfortably" Of course you can lay on it the normal way, and when you do that it's comfortable, but there is so much material that it ends up enveloping you, which is kind of handy for keeping Flies off of you, but otherwise it's kind of annoying. My kids would disagree with me on that though, they seemed to love it. I think it reminded them of the feeling of being Swaddled as babies. So this feature might work for you too if your into that kind of thing. If you lay 2 adults the normal way you end up with essentially 2 Hammocks in 1 with a little net wall separating you from you from your Hammock mate, which of course is fine if you don't want to touch that person. I think I'd opt for the size smaller than this one next time myself, the craftsmanship is stunningly sturdy and beautiful, and they did say it was Jumbo, so I can't fault them on that. it also provided some amusement for me and my family for a few hours at my expense. I would recommend this Hammock to any world record holding obese person.

What can I say? I never stayed in an hammock so awesome! It's comfortable, looks amazing, it clearly have been done with care. Shipping was perfect: i was concerned about customs but everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Purchased July 2013. This hammock is simply divine. The colors are so fun and vibrant! These hammocks are hand-made and they are so awesome that we bought another one. You can lay in just about any direction and still have room for your spouse and maybe a small child or two AND your pet! The other day I fell asleep curled up in mine for an hour. It was so comfortable that I just dozed off. I can see how some people would use these to sleep in. If it's a bit cool outside I lay a blanket on the hammock and curl up in it with a pillow from the sofa. I wish I could convey to you how much we love our hammocks. Just buy it and write your own review! Please make sure to take care of your hammock. We never leave it outside when not in use and make sure not to expose them to the elements (it rains a lot in Seattle). The colors might run. We actually store them inside when not in use. They are not exposed to sunlight or moisture. We never have trouble getting out of the hammock like some people have stated in other reviews. Those reviews perplex me. Of course you have to hold it open to get in it. It's not the kind of hammock that has the bar on both ends that keeps it open. I also don't understand people who can't figure out how to stay IN the hammock. Just be careful and keep in mind that you have to use your balance and mind the tension spots on the hammock while you are in it. If I do experience any troubles with it I will update my review, but I hope that I won't need to.
