I really wanted a hammock that dried quickly - and this is IT! It's made from woven mesh very much like the fabric of a football jersey. There is a bit of stretch, but not much at all. Sadly, it does not fit on either of our hammock stands, so it's a camping/tree-only hammock.

We set up the Uimomn hammock between two palm trees in the garden and found it be be quite comfortable. The material is somewhat expandable and stretchy, has large enough holes to stay well ventilated. The fabric seems to have enough tensile strength to accomodate a full size adult. It's not an overly generous size, just barely long enough to stretch out and relax. Maybe a foot or two longer would be nice. We don't consider this they type of hammock to leave set up permanently in our garden, but perhaps the lightweight nature of the fabric and the carrying bag make it ideal for beach use. ... show more

    • Nice to relax and play in but I wouldn't trust it anywhere close to the rated 600lb limit.

While the specs say the hammock is rated for 600 pounds, I don't think I would try and push that limit. Either the thin nylon rope that ties to the trees/posts or the netting seems like it would likely tear in half with that much weight. That being said, our kids and their neighborhood friends loved taking turns relaxing and playing in it. The included rope is fine for camping, backpacking, or hanging out in a park, but for a more permanent installation, I would buy a heavier rope and some clips to provide a stronger, more secure anchor point. ... show more

    • Perfect for camping and setting up a temporary hammock but does not fit full size hammock stands.
This hammock is ideal if you can find mounting points close enough. Originally ordered this as a replacement for my weathered hammock on my back yard stand but this hammock is not a typical full length hammock. The webbing is about 6’ long but does not work with full size hammock stands.

This hammock has several pros and then a few neutral points Overall, I was pleased with it and would purchase it again. Pros: - Wooden ends to spread out the fabric so you don't feel like your a burrito. - Carrying bag with shoulder strap Neutral: - Fabric is entirely mesh, like an old school sports jersey. It took some getting used to, but I actually found it was much cooler than my cotton and polyester hammocks - It comes with two straps - the straps however are just nylon rope, and must be tied onto the tree. I was super stoked about this product. I've always loved hammocks. And this one said it could hold 2 ppl with a limit up to Luke 650#s!!! Well it got here and I was happy. Strung it up between an oak tree and a pine tree. I got on and ilas I expected I slid to the ground. Np. Then I got off the ground d and went to the oak tree side and the freaking tie up rope frayed up!!! Probably gonna happen over in the pine too. Bit I sawng in it and almost passed out on it. Seems ok made. But I'm bummed now I have to go find rope. That's y I get stuff geom here. I DONT WANNA GO ANYWHERE!!! SO ILL CONTINUE with this for. Month then update ... show more

    • Good quality travel hammock!
This is a really nice travel hammock. It looks good and is very comfortable to lay in. The mesh material is thin and lets in lots of fresh through the tiny holes. And because there isn't a bunch of large holes between knotted ropes like traditional hammocks have, I don't need to worry about my keys or change falling onto the ground. The hammock easily folds up into a mesh bag made of the same material the hammock is made of. It's very easy to pack and unpack. The only thing I don't care much for is that in order to hang this between two trees, you're only provided with a rope which basically allows you to hang it one time only. I went out and bought some cheap chains and carabiners so I can set this up and take it down easily, without the need for fancy knots. Even though I needed to buy a couple of things to easily set it up, I still think it's a great hammock....especially considering the current price. ... show more

This hammock is really good quality. Holds good weight and it is sturdy. Does not feel itchy or flimsy. Came in a bag so maybe do a box packaging to make sure things don't get damaged or loss.
