One of the most relaxing things I know is laying in a nice hammock in the shade in summer reading a book. Add a cup of lemonade and you've got a perfect day. But last year as I went to enjoy this perfect day I heard.....rrrrrriiiiiiipppppp! Our hammock had finally given up. The frame is still in great shape because its super solid just like the one in their ad pictures. This is the type you need for this hammock to hang well. I saw this and fell in love. I like the look. I ordered two white macrame swings to go on my swing set that look like this so it really matches my yard and makes it look so inviting. I notice that once the kids are too grown up for the swing set, they still like that rocking motion. This gives the teens somewhere to go. It used to be really soothing for me when I was upset about something. I was 17 but still went outside and would swing on the swing until I calmed down. If I would have had a hammock option I would have totally picked that. Plus this is fun for cousins to lay in together because it's big enough for two teens to sit and giggle together. I just love creating space for memories to be made. My yard is getting magical. One visitor actually said that. She came to my house once to get something, and she was really upset. I sent her into my yard and kept her kids busy for a while so she could have some time to herself. I said, "Go, lay on the hammock." She resisted at first but later she told me that it was the turning point for her getting over something that had happened. That's my goal; create a healing space for us and for others to enjoy. That's why the hammock needed to look 'magical'. Mission accomplished. p.s. I wouldn't just leave this hanging up since it's white. A cover is helpful or unhook it and bring it inside.

This is a cheaply made hammock. It is ok, but I left my other one hanging. Looks like the style of hammocks found in Argentina. I love that it comes with straps and carabiners.
