I looked into this cover to help protect my wife's outdoor hammock from the Texas elements. Although it is a bit larger than I was expecting, the hammock cover has done a great job at preserving my wife's hammock. Its waterproof and UV-resistant design has been particularly effective. Even after enduring the Texas heat, the cover does not show any signs of fading, which is a promising sign for its use in future seasons. OK, so maybe I don’t need a cover for my hammock. My hammock stand is 11.5ft but it swims under this cover meant for 11-12ft stands. Now looking at it, I think it’s for hammocks that have the spreader bar at either side, and mine does not. I guess if I ever replace mine with one that has the spreader bar, this cover will work better. I blame myself, so I didn’t dock the cover for my mistake. It’s still a great cover that is weatherproof and made of quality material. The only reason I gave it just 4 stars is because of the straps. Only the male end of the buckle can be tightened, which I feel is an unfortunate oversight. IIf you can’t tell from the picture I attached, I had to use the slack to double-loop it into itself just to tighten it. Oh well.

Huge on my hammock and stand, but I think that's because mine doesn't have the wooden frame that some hammocks have. Great for off season to keep your hammock clean and dry.

This is a very nice and thick waterproof cover for your hammock on a stand. It has buckles on the side and a drawstring at the bottom to help cinch it close as much as possible for the best protection against the outside elements. Also has wide sturdy hand straps sewn into the top corners so you can easily adjust the cover by grabbing the strap and also use it as a guide to fit the cover. There is a lot of material involved, so the hand straps in the upper corners are very helpful for a quicker covering. Easy to use and works just as described!

I looked at the size & shape of this cover & knew it would also cover my 2 kayaks that are stacked. It worked very well & I needed just a couple of bungee cords to secure it tight. It has buckle straps & a drawstring set up that wasn't bad at all, just needed the xtra since I wasn't using it for it's intended purpose. If you are in a wind prone area the additional thing you can do to secure it is use the handles on both ends and run a strap or rope from both ends under the hammock & tie off. It'll have to take the hammock too if its bad-lol But seriously it'll stay on fine without that. The material gives me confidence it'll hold up & protect my kayaks. That's what matters to me.

The hammock cover fits my hammock stand, and the materials are high quality. The canvas has proven to be waterproof and the straps seem strong. However, I am docking a star because it didn't come with any instruction, and I've pretty much just wrapped this around the hammock stand and am hoping it protects it from winter. It would be really great if they'd include a diagram for how to put it on. I think it is a major oversight, and the only reason I am only docking one star is because the materials do seem premium. But instructions are needed. Please.
