If you want to use it in a non 18-wheeler capacity, a simple key ring and connection to your vehicle visor, which is how I did mine in my 2022 Ram 1500, I highly recommend it. I have to say that this holder does and performs exactly as its described in the listing. Lightweight and simple. I would recommend a manufacturing update of a way to reign in the excess string, after tightening it around the microphone post. Great equipment for a great selling price.

Excellent product. I have three of these in my mobile Ham stations. They keep my microphones within reach and I don't have to fumble around looking for the hangup box.
