This watch is just gorgeous. It arrived packaged new with all seals intact. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a much more expensive Chrono that would be dressy enough and opted for the Hamilton instead. It’s my second Hamilton, the first being the Pan Europa which I still love. Of my five automatics the Hamilton seems to be the most accurate so I opted to spend a third of what I was going to and get the Hamilton Intra Matic chrono. For those wondering about the mesh band, it’s far better than I expected. Has a great weight to it and so very easy to adjust. So far I’m very happy and a special shout-out to the vendor for getting it to me a day early and perfectly as described. ... show more

I bought this because I was looking for a “Panda”. It was a bonus that it had the “beads of rice” bracelet. Hamilton has really upped their game. Very high-quality watch.

    • Superlative time keeper with looks that don’t fade. It’s the cure.
Looks outstanding. Compliments galore. Superlative time keeper — the watch has a screw down crown, which I am sometimes not fond of given it’s harder to quickly set or hack the watch, but this watch keeps such perfect time I have yet to need to adjust it even after more than 2 months on the wrist. I’m sold on the H-31 movement. Based on the 7753 ETA, it’s phenomenal overall. Mesh bracelet is amazing and incredibly comfortable (if you’re contemplating the leather band version, thinking it’s cheaper and the band material won’t matter that much, I can assure you it does, and you won’t be disappointed if you spend the extra $ on the mesh bracelet version). Are there any cons? Minimal but they are (for me): 1- lume is sufficient but could be better. 2 - There is no exhibition case back (not an issue for me but I know this is a nice to have for some). Thickness is not an issue for me. I like to feel a watch on my wrist and this is one, at 40mm is absolutely a perfect size/thickness for my taste. If you buy this watch, you’ll love it. I’ve collected watches for years. If you’re like me, you buy a watch, wear it for a few weeks, and then start thinking about selling it to get the next one. It’s kind of a sickness.
