These ghost string lights are nice and bright and are really cute. We had bought some ghost string lights at a craft store that were those cheap faerie light strings, but the ghosts on those were tiny, and the strings were impossible to untangle, straight from the box. I threw those out and purchased 2 sets of these from Amazon instead. They were boxed neatly, the wires are thick and sturdy, the ghosts are well-placed and are good quality. I hung these indoors above my window curtains, and they really lit up the living room for Halloween. I already had skulls and pumpkins string lights in the same style from this brand, and all have been really enjoyable additions to my Halloween decorations. One tip if you buy these: Keep the fuses and original box so that you can replace the fuse and not the entire strand when you unpack these to decorate next year. Perfect amount of light in darkness and in semi-lit room. I wish the lead wire was a little shorter. It made for extra cord to be hidden when I joined (2) lines together. Otherwise a Great set of lights!!! Varied colors were a plus !

A very short strand, with not a ton of lead from plug to first lantern, so would do best with some form of extension cord. I lit the lights while installing the paper lantern pieces, and there is a black piece show that heated up in the time it took me to do half of them, to quite a hot temperature. Overall they are super cute, nicely bright, and pretty secure. I don't see wind blowing these lanterns off their bulbs; However be warned some of the white frames DO stay bend, or may twist, so you might have to gently twist them back. Very pleased with these! Only drawback is there is no power switch I can see, so you have to plug in/unplug to turn them on or off. ... show more
