My littles just love these plastic flasks with the powder. They enjoy creating potions and my only complaint is that they go fast and there are only 4 in the box. At this point, the kids won't take baths without some type of bath bomb entertainment. This box of 4 colorful potions comes in watermelon, grape, orange, and strawberry scents and the bright colors change the bath water. My kids like to hold the open flask under the faucet and watch it bubble over and create a nice foam. You can also have them add water little by little, but they're too impatient. Another fun part is the surprise toy inside. In this case, it's a plastic Halloween themed one. A black cat, ghost, pumpkin, and a hooded figure in black mean to be a wizard. In addition, a sheet of stickers with 21 different designs that they can attach to lunch sacks, notebooks, school stuff or whatever if they like. Also, we keep the plastic flasks as they come in handy for many other different experiments and projects. They don't stain and rinse away completely.

I like that this product is marketed with a Halloween theme, but more importantly, that they emphasize the "volcano" effect. I've seen (and tried) several similar bath bomb sets recently, and none of them focus on the little volcano that occurs when you pour water directly into the flasks. I'm guessing most kids use them by pouring into standing bath water, mixing colors, and scents. That's great, to be sure, and I think the volcano-action adds a bit of variety. Naturally, these can be combined to create new color powders, then create a fizzy, overflowing effect. Within each flask with colored powder (there are four) you will also find a tiny toy. It's because of the tiny toy that I urge caution when this product is anywhere around smaller children, who may swallow the toy, making it a choking hazard. That said, this is a fun kit, and a good value. It even comes with a sheet of Halloween themed stickers, though they are small. Nice set, and right now an even better value due to a money-saving, insstant coupon from Amazon. It's easily found on the product page.

This potion kit/bath bomb set is a great Halloween gift. Wonderful presentation, colorful box, purple shredded paper padding, and extra bonus stickers in addition to the prizes in the potion jars. The quality of the plastic "jar" itself is better than others I have seen in that the powder within doesn't stick to the inside of the jar. This means you can also split it up and use them individually in party favor bags without the jars looking "dirty" from bits of powder inside clinging to the plastic. The scents are marked on the top of each one. Fizzes well. This one is a great choice!

The packaging is adorable — looks like a real potion kit! Gave this as a Halloween gift to my niece and she was thrilled before even opening it. Inside, each bath bomb is individually wrapped with cute character designs. The surprise toys, colorful bubbles, and foam explosion make it a complete experience. Worth every penny.

Bought this for my son (5) and daughter (8), both obsessed! The wizard and ghost figures are their favorites. The bath bombs fizz nicely, colors are vibrant, and the scent is pleasant and kid-safe. It's hard to find Halloween gifts that work for both boys and girls, but this nails it. Five stars!

I have a 4-year-old and an 11-year-old, and BOTH love this kit. The little one enjoys the bubbles and toys, while the older one gets into the STEM side of the color-changing fizz reaction. The foam explosion is impressive every single time. Quality is consistent across all 4 characters. A Halloween must-have!

The "foam explosion" is no joke — it actually erupts and fills the tub with colorful bubbles! My daughter screamed with joy the first time she saw it. Each character is adorable and the toys inside are decent quality, not cheap plastic. Perfect for Halloween bath time fun. Will repurchase for sure.
