    • Considerations before buying

Personally I am happy with this set, however, I believe there are things others may need to consider. I have never had a problem with this rug slipping while I was getting out of shower or tub, but it does slide on my tile floors more than other rugs I’ve purchased. If you have mobility or stability issues be sure to consider this before buying. Again, I have not had an issue but my cats slide on them when they get the zoomies. This doesn’t happen with other bathroom rugs I’ve had. Next is the shedding. I’ve washed this rug at least 10 times since purchase and my washer still gets a layer of fur to be removed from the drum after each wash. I’ve also had my dryer vent and the waste water line cleaned out twice because of the shedding. This rug sheds very badly in the wash but is still pretty plush after so many washes. These are two items I wanted to comment on. Overall I still give 4 stars because I am not unhappy with the product based on the price paid. ... show more

When we received these rugs they were a bit matted down from transport/packaging. I put them in the bathroom and we walked all over them for a week. Since some of the reviews mentioned problems during/after washing, I washed them today (a week later) in case they needed returned. Not only did they survive the wash (followed instructions - gentle, cold wash, low dryer) they came out soft, fluffed up and looking better than when received. They do take a while to dry. I ended up hanging to dry after 1 cycle in the dryer on low. Buy them, you won't regret it! ... show more

I am trying to find something good to write about these bath mats, but I can't. Unfortunately, I didn't use them right away and the return window closed 6 days ago. 1-the mats were supposed to be beige & gray; they look more like beige & light green. 2-They move way too often to be considered slip resistant. 3-they produced so much lint at the first wash that I not only had to use a lint brush on the other items washed with them, the lint far exceeded the capacity of the lint filter in my dryer. I decided to wash and dry them a second time, hoping that all the lint was gone, but unfortunately, they continued to shed even though I did a timed dry and stopped the dryer every 10 minutes to clear the filter. 4-I would consider these mats a fire hazard.
