The clasps on the lids do come off, probably for cleaning. The large containers can hold a lot of food, I probably only put about 2 cups in for lunches but it makes it easier to mix. Overall these have been really great for the two months I've had them.

I really love the portion sizes on these glass containers. We bought these to use the bigger ones for leftovers and then portion our lunches in the smaller containers. The locking lid with the steam vent is great. These are easy to warm up in the microwave and easy to clean.

I like these quite a bit and have purchased another set after a few months of using the original set. The air hole at the top is very convenient in opening it because a hard suction can occur in putting warm food into a container and then placing in the refrigerator or freezer. Popping that hole provides easy access to the food within the container. The lid being plastic should not be used in a microwave. The plastic lids are dishwasher safe. I have tried other container's plastic lids and they seem far inferior and they get brittle and break. These lids are durable and hold up quite well in the dishwasher. ... show more

I do like these but prob bcuz the lid color. The side snaps do come off all the time and the lid is kinda weird in that it doesn’t fit right on but I can end up closing the lid eventually.

I bought 10 glass container for my lunch boxes two years ago, but feel not enough because I cook for the week. Very happy to find this much lower priced one but looks almost identical than the more expensive ones I bought 2 yrs ago. I have used them for several months now, no problem at all.
