Been using Haisstronica heat shrink crimp terminals for years. They are consistent and reliable. Though this is an uninsulated terminal, I had high expectations that this terminal would be of the same consistent quality as the connectors I've been using, and it absolutely was. I had a fringe use case, where I needed to have two, 10-gauge wires in a single ring terminal. This was for a car audio sub box terminal cup application, where stacking two, 10/12 gauge rings on top of each other would not have worked. Only room for one crimp terminal. The sub box came with 16-gauge wiring, which is laughable for any car audio sub. let alone one that will see 1Kw+ RMS. You not only need the CORRECT crimper for these terminals (non-insulated), you need a BEEFY crimper. I have Haisstronica's uninsulated crimper, this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L331FB2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 I will tell you that I needed two hands and all my strength to crimp the two, 10-gauge wires in one of these terminals, but the crimp is perfect. Cover the terminal with heatshrink and that's not going anywhere. The fact that the terminal is brazed closed at the seam does two things. One, it makes it a lot more difficult to crimp, especially with a manual crimper. Two, it makes a bulletproof crimp onto the wire. Most crimp terminals are not brazed closed at the seam. If you don't get the crimp terminal perfectly aligned in the crimper, you'll have a lopsided crimp, where one side of the seam is crimped down well but the other side is not, or simply barely crimpled at all. These brazed-closed terminals eliminate that problem. You still need to line things up as well as possible, but the brazed terminal helps make it almost dummy-proof. Typical use case for these terminals would be 8-gauge power wiring for a solar setup, trailer winch, etc. I'm sure these terminals will work well for that use case too. EXCELLENT quality connectors. I used these to make a wiring harness for a solar system I installed in my RV. I crimped, then soldered, and then applied an adhesive shrink tubing over it to finish. ...that ain't goin' anywhere. Perfect crimp every time...very thick material for a connector, you can count on it holding! ... show more
