Really good for the price

I got these to trim my Aussies butt lol because if you have one, you know their butt fur is really dense and long and for me, it gets hard to brush since it gets tangled so easily and also collects a lot of dirt. These thinning shears are worth the price, not super cheap material like I thought they would be. They’re pretty thick and a good weight so the material is good. They aren’t the sharpest but that might just be because my dogs hair is so thick, I imagine they would do better on human hair. ... show more

Not for synthetic wigs!!! Unscrewed itself and fell apart

The cut of the shears are great! But halfway through a synthetic wig project it unscrewed itself and I have been unable to repair it myself. Would recommend for normal hair but maybe not synthetic. Even when “screwed” back together and used lightly it would keep unscrewing and falling apart.

I waited to leave a review until I could try the scissors several times. My early 20s son is a hair factory and we sometimes have to do a maintenance haircut until he can get to his regular shop. We have a set of clippers for the sides and back but needed thinning shears for the top. I first looked in local beauty supply stores but did not want to pay their prices-way too high, so I checked on Amazon. This pair was very reasonably priced and had enough positive reviews that I ordered them. They are comfortable to hold and are very sharp, cutting cleanly without tugging.
