This is a very small and light hole punch, designed so you can leave it in your binder. I found it would only punch about 2 sheets of paper at once. Getting the paper aligned takes some care. But the result is nice holes. If all you need is a cheap 3 hole punch, for occasional light use, this is for you. If you need something fast to use and heavy duty, this ain't it. I bought this on a whim and didn't expect it to work too well, but I was pleasantly surprised. Pros Can punch holes cleanly with just one piece of paper Has a built in ruler, works well for a straight edge Fits nicely in a 3 ring binder for ease of access Has a separate removable clear tray to catch paper bits Has a little corner notch to nestle paper into in order to get a straight hole punch Feels sturdy, doesn't feel cheaply made and could definitely withstand a school year Love the color options Cons It does take quite a bit of pressure to punch holes in the paper, especially if you are doing more than 3 at a time Cannot punch more than 5-6 sheets at a time cleanly; sometimes it works, but takes a lot of downward pressure The tray is difficult to reattach at times Does not always cleanly punch holes in paper, easy to fix with a single hole puncher if you have one Honestly, it works really well for what it is. Punching 5 pages at a time works fine. Works on 3 index cards at a time as well. Pretty color and affordable. The catch for the punchout paper is a little too easy to remove, but it's a great feature.

I needed a quick way to hole punch certain (few) documents at work. I love that it can be stored in the binder. I mispunched a few things because I did not align the paper to the bottom guide. You really can only do 3 pages at a time though.
