Let me just say: I’m an amateur. I started cutting my own hair during the pandemic, and I decided that I like my results better (generally) than the last few barbers and stylists I’ve gone to because I know what I want my hair to look like when it grows in. And it’s not easy to cut. I’m an older guy, and my hair is patchy—thick in some areas, not so thick in others. So even though some people have complimented me on my self-haircuts, a few have said I should get some thinning shears for the back of my head. My haircutters usually used thinning shears, so I decided to get myself some. I’m learning how to use these on hair like mine… there are some tutorials on the web. These fit my fingers well, and the tension is easily adjustable with the finger screw. They seem to be solidly built, and the leather pouch is a nice touch. A silicone ring is included, though I not only had no idea what to do with it, and I immediately lost it! I didn’t know what it was (I noticed it on my table after I opened these) and thought it went with a hose head or something, and now I don’t know where I put it, lol! I’ll have to figure that out, too. These are definitely a good price… I look forward to learning how to use them properly while I experiment on my hair!

I'm a former licensed hairdresser I had decent hair cutting tools various types of shears for cutting hair and different types of hair my good shears were for cutting human hair of clients sitting in my chair other shears were for cutting hair extensions, synthetic crochet and braid hair. After I left the industry my tools were either lost in moves or borrowed and never returned. When I decided to start a better hair care maintenance journey I realized I didn't have the proper tools. These thinning shears are very good, sharp and feel good in my hand. 9/10 Recommend

I am not a hair stylist so I may not know how quality scissors should be, but I was very happy with these. I got them to help trim my bangs and they worked well enough. The snipping mechanism is pretty smooth, the scissors are hefty and feel good in my hand. I also like the little rubber grips. I’m not sure what else to say about these! They got the job done and they are much better than the ones I had gotten previously from the dollar store so I’d say they’re worth the price too.

I am not a licensed hair dresser, but I have cut my own hair many times. I only do this when it is overgrown and I haven't made an appointment. These. hair thinning scissors are great. They are quality scissors and work well. Having these actually saves me money because I can go longer in between appointments with my professional stylist. These were a great choice and I would definitely order them again.

These thinning shears have very sharp teeth which makes cutting my own hair easy. It came with a holder to protect the shear. Surprisingly these are a quality pair of thinning shears that I really wasn't expecting since the price is so cheap. Also a must have is the rubber grips making it easy to hold them. Another great feature is the adjustable tension. Great thnning shears that does the job.
