Extremely nice for the value. Nobody has any excuse to film a YouTube video of them cutting their hair with kitchen scissors or craft scissors when these exists. I first used these without the rubber finger rings, and they felt like any other pair of hair cutting shears. They are nice and light, so very easy to use at different angles if you're overdirecting your hair. I then put the rubber finger rings on, and now I feel like I've been missing out my entire life. They're so comfortable and it feels more secure in my hand, compared to other cheap shears where the grip is wrapped in hard plastic. These were sharp right out of the package. I was giving myself an undercut and then a long length shag, so I used these for my first big cut to chop off tons of length in the back before using clippers, then to take off length and shape the shag cut. I didn't use them to add texture because I have texturizing shears and a razor for that, but they felt like you could easily use them to add some texture around your face. The storage bag is really nice if you don't already have storage for shears. The ends are quite sharp so it's really important to store them so they're both protected from getting banged around, AND so you won't accidentally jab yourself. The comb is a nice addition but it's just a comb. A rat tail comb would have been a more valuable inclusion since you can actually use that to part hair while cutting.

At the listed price I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I figured it was worth a shot. When I first pulled them from the box, I thought ok, thin case, cheap comb pulled out the scissors and was amazed! When you open and close these things, they just glide and are as smooth as butter. They are solid steel so are a bit on the heavy side but because they are small it is no big deal. They just look and feel great! But how do they cut? I got these for my beard. I’m in my 50’s and I have a course, heavy white beard. I spend time on it every day making sure it is groomed and trimmed so I was not going to be surprised if these were not quite up to the task. But they are! Because they have a micro-serrated edge, they grab every strand of hair and just effortlessly cuts them away. There is no pushing the hair down along the edge as you close these scissors. Every cut is precise and clean. I am gobsmacked by the quality of these scissors for the price. The fake leather case is plenty usable and I use it. I use quality combs, but the comb is the same type my mom used to cut my hair my entire childhood so it’s usable. But the scissors are fantastic!
