Very sharp scissors - but with blunt tips to help minimise accidental injury. These are great for upkeep of your hair style in between trips to the hairdresser. They are great for dusting the tips of natural hair - to keep everything looking neat. I would not recommend these for all day use - as the finger holes/loops are a bit too small and very quickly cause hand fatigue. Hand that these come with a storage pouch to avoid damage to the blades or to people through mishandling.

I have very long hair and split ends are a never ending problem for me. As a result I am always on the scout for a good pair of scissors to help take care of those split ends in between regular trims. This pair of right handed scissors is doing an admirable job of just that. The handles fit comfortably in the hand and the metal is nice and smooth. There is a small plastic cap that prevents the metal of the handles from clicking together. The entire blade length does cut but the most effective section runs from the tips to about half way up the blade. The tips are slightly blunted for safety reasons and I find it quite helpful. When the scissors arrived they were coated in a thin layer of a clear oil that was easy to wipe off before I started using them. The case is lined with a soft fabric for blade protection and it is a useful addition to the product. A tension adjusting disk is included but I haven't had to use it as of yet. I also don't know the longevity of their sharpness as only time and continued use will be able to tell that. Overall they seem to be a decent pair of hair cutting scissors for the price and I will be getting my use out of them...

If you just need scissors to cut your hair or style wigs at home, these are good - nice and sharp, scissor motion is smooth, gives a clean cut. But the finger loops are tiny - not comfortable to hold for long periods of time, so if you're doing more than one head of hair, maybe look for something with larger loops.

These haircutting scissors are extremely sharp, cutting hair is effortlessly! As I cut my daughters hair they moved smooth and easy. I love the fact that they come with the Leather storage case is snaps shut. The only thing I would change is I would put a locking mechanism on the scissors as they are so sharp, however they do come with a little twisty tie to keep them shut and I did put that back on there.

I got these to trim my son’s hair occasionally. It’s hard to justify hundreds of dollars on pro shears, for occasional use. These do a decent job on trims as long as you don’t get too much hair at once. It will pinch and push the wad of hair out of the blades crooked. That’s probably more due to my poor technique than anything. Overall, these are all I will ever need at home!

I recently ordered the 6 inch professional haircut scissors. I was excited to order these as my elderly mother has me cutting her hair and I have no nice shears to use. I am conflicted on whether I like these shears. There is a small plastic tip protector, so be sure to remove that before trying them out. I'd keep this to protect against accidental pokes. They have some weight and feel like good quality. They open and close well. These shears are also sharp. The sheath feels very cheap but does the job. My biggest issue with these scissors are the finger holes. The finger loops are tiny. I can barely get my slender fingers in them for proper use. My thumb joint has a 2.25" circumference, while the tip of my thumb and other fingers have less than a 2" circumference (I used a flexible ruler to measure). If you have tiny fingers on your right hand, then these shears should be perfect for you. For me, they do not allow for a comfortable experience as I had fatigue in my fingers after use.
