My husband put it together in about an hour Since it was his first time ever putting a salon chair together, he did put the hydraulic pump foot lever on upside down initially, but when he figured it out to turn it over, it worked perfectly :-) I did receive it earlier than expected. I appreciate that. And I also liked all of the screws. Nuts bolts tools were all on one thick paper sheet with a plastic seal over the groupings. I feel this was very well done Instead of the alternative of just tossing everything in a plastic bag. My husband and I both appreciated the product packing detail. it is very comfortable. I think I can sit in it for several hours in order to get my hair braided :-) keep in mind however this one does not tilt it is pretty straightforward if you need something to support your lower back, you can put another pillow behind you and I think still be very comfortable in the chair. It does have two arm rests, which are amazing as well as a foot rest. How was the item? Great chair for the price they hold up well we have used these for 9 years replaced some but they still looked nice the thing that happens to them is the hydraulics start to go out and slowly the person pumped up slides down and the screw that holds the foot rest on they will come out pretty much every chair we had did it but it’s not a huge deal we have one that needs fixed now we have to options that work well for fixing that is “lock tight” they use it for cars it’s kinda like a glue for Screws then the other thing we did in the past was my dad would drill a whole the rest of the way though where the original one was and then put a bolt on the back that never messes up once he did it but I will buy these again as needed they are worth the price look nice well beyond the time the hydraulics will and they clean easy we don’t use covers on them I’m pleased with the purchase we have had 15 in 9 years we have 12 of them now ... show more

This item is trash. I received it May 31 2022 and my client fell out of the chair when it broke right after the 30 day period. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND THEY WANT ME TO BOX UP THIS BULKY THING AND SEND IT BACK FOR A REPLACEMENT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Pay the extra money for the other one. These chairs are advertised as heavy duty but they are not. Within a few days of building the chairs several of the chairs hydraulics started making farting sounds and one of the chairs started to go wabbly when it is turned. But this is not the worst of it when I contacted the third party vender I was put off several times being told that they would send replacement parts that never came until the chairs were finally out of warranty and now they won't do anything saying they are out of warranty. I have approached Amazon for help and they say it is up to the third party vender Factory Direct Wholesales (Best Massage Store). This whole process has been time consuming and costly. I don't recommend purchasing any salon equipment from Amazon or Factory Direct Wholesales (Best Massage Store).
