Always have a hard time finding hair products I like for my thin hair. Gives that natural look and easy to style. Keeps its hold and doesn't fade away like some products do halfway through the day. I am a mom of a teenager and I have been through my fair share of hair products. From axe, glorilla glue to got2be. You name it. Decided to try this out on a whim. Upon opening, my son stated it smelled good. Which it did. It had a really settle smell. Consistency is not to sticky but has hold. Very sleek and smooth, while not too shiny. Which I prefer. It gave him more of a matte finish. Used with a teeth comb. Water soluble! So it rinses off very easily. When rinsing I didn’t find any residue on his hair. That’s a total plus! Good for travel. Weighs 3.3 ounces but since we used it a few times it went through TSA just fine. Would recommend if you are looking for something new to try. ... show more

Nice product and reasonably priced but I found it to be too stiff on my curly 3A hair. It provided hold, but it made my hair so stiff I couldn’t run my fingers through any of it. The glasses came off and frizzy hair tamed, suddenly the princess inside was born. Looking in the mirror, I barely recognized myself. My neatly coiffed hair allowed the sexy beast to roam free. I typically have issues with hair products because my hair has a lot of volume. I’ll use them before I go out and not even 2 hours later I find that my hair has totally changed from when I left the house. But with Akin it’s quite the opposite. This stuff is awesome, firm but still playful and if I want to mess with it later I just add a little water and I can re- shape my hair. 10/10 recommend ... show more

I have tried so many different pomades I’ve lost count. As soon as I find one that works it becomes unavailable. I have my fingers crossed for this one because it’s the best! See that photo? It was taken after driving for an hour in 100+ degrees with no AC. No melted pompadour, people! This stuff holds without making my hair stiff as a board and the fragrance is barely noticeable (eventually it just goes away) - that’s a big deal.
