I have tested this dryer for a few days. It is the fastest hair dryer I have ever used. Apparently it generates negative ions which help to break up the larger water droplets into smaller ones, and the smaller droplets evaporate faster. I like this technology, because the air does not get so hot. I think people with bleached, and/or brittle hair would especially appreciate this type of hair dryer. The dryer is also quieter and lighter my others. The handle feels more well balanced than any other dryer I've used, probably because it attaches more toward the center of the blowing tube, instead of at one end. It's a very well designed, good quality hair dryer, in my opinion. I doubt the brushless motor will ever wear out. Unfortunately I had to return this dryer. It has a pretty major design flaw in my opinion. I'm always hitting button to change between hot/cold due to how it's placed on the handle. It also does not dry my hair as fast as I thought it would.
