I bought these scissors to use on my son’s hair. The comb included is far better than the fine tooth combs I already had. It makes parting the hair so easy. The rubber tip came out after not that many uses, but it doesn't impact the performance. The screw comes loose very often and you need to retighten it every hour or two. They're decently sharp and work considering the low price point. I never use the case but it's good to have. The clips are okay but don't work the best, get better quality ones.

for a home use, I’m sad. It’s pretty good. The only notable things I would say are that the clips feel like cheap and the cape is way too small yogurt hair all over your clothes either way so it’s better just to not use it.

Not super fancy but sharp enough to do a good “at home” hair cut for my kids. Way better than using crafting scissors! They come in a nice case with a comb, regular scissors and blending or thinning scissors ( not sure what they are called.) Also came with a cleaning cloth. Would buy again. Great deal for the price.

For starters, this kit is great value. If you are just getting into hair cutting for your own needs or friends and family, these may do the job just fine. Especially considering the price, getting a solid comb, scissors, and thinning shears, the clips and kit aer a super nice touch. The scissors however, leave some things to be desired. It is nice that they incluce a tension screw that is relatively easy to maneuver, as other ones I've used require a key or are very finicky. Unfortunately though, with only two uses, the tension repeatedly loosens itself - even within one haircut, so I find myself retightening them often. Price considered, they cut relatively well. I would recommend spending a little more, perhaps in the $15+ range if you want something with more longevity and quality. Regarding the ergonomics of the scissors, they feel alright to hold- but a bit big for me personally. The finger holes are just a little too big so I find myself repositioning the scissors several times through a cut. If you have bigger hands they may work better for you but there are no inserts or anything of that sort to make them fit better for you.
