My grandfather was a barber and I still have a pair of his haircutting scissors, so I can compare this kit to his professional scissors. The first thing I noticed is that the scissors in the kit are more comfortable to use. The finger openings are larger in diameter and wider, providing more comfort. Just like the professional set, if you look at the cutting edge as you work the scissors you can see the blades are curved inwards. As the scissors operate, the blades flex slightly always keeping a small cutting surface tightly together. This is usually used on higher quality ( and price ) scissors and ensures a sharp clean cut. There is also a comb/trimming blade that is used for feathering ( I think ) and other accessories in the pouch. I think if your trimming or cutting your own hair, this kit would help you get off to a good start.

Very nice hair cutting kit. It includes a really nice zipper case that keeps everything neatly inside. The scissors have a decent weight and don't feel flimsy or cheap. Most importantly, they are sharp and I was able to quickly trim my bangs comfortably. My hands are small, but these scissors fit them well and the rubber grip inserts help me handle it without any problems. I noticed that the scissor tips aren't pointed sharp like other ones I've used which made it a lot easier to work with especially since I'm trimming the hair close to my eyes. The included comb was a good basic addition. And the cleaning cloth is perfect to keep my scissors clean and hopefully it will last a long time. Also, appreciate the product info and details on the back of the box it came in.

Premium Stainless Steel Haircut Scissors Kit with Comb and Case Let's talk about these scissors- I used them to cut my own bangs. They cut beautifully but they are blunt on the end and that isn't great for adding texture after trimming your bangs. I also used the to cut my grandson's baby fine blonde hair and they worked perfectly. They are sharp and have the adjusting knob, which I didn't need to use. It has been a very long time since I found a pair of haircutting scissors this nice for this low of a price. The rest of the kit has little to no value to me, it is just bonus stuff of little value. There is a razor hair cutter, a comb and a carrying case. The case itself is not good quality, it only serves the purpose of keeping it all together.

This is a nice set of hair cutting shears, they're not professional grade by any means but they have a nice feel and are comfortable in my hands (I'm a big grrl with big hands). The set includes some accessories: a comb (it's fine), a cloth to wipe the shears, and a guarded razor for razor cutting. That's plastic, doesn't seem too high-grade so I'm not sure how well it would perform and I don't plan to try razor cutting my own hair lol. I do like that it came with a case, my last ones got all yucky just sitting in the drawer with brushes & combs. For an advertised price of under $15, I'd say it's a pretty good deal.

I'm only evaluating the scissors. The rest of the accessories are fine and might add value if you can use them, they should be fine for home use. I was pleasantly surprised by the scissors. They're sharp, the action is smooth, and the grip is comfortable. Personally I'm not a fan of the green accent, but whatever. I feel like if I can get new scissors this sharp at this price, why would I bother with sharpening any more? I'll just buy a new pair. Great value.

This hair cutting scissors set comes with 6 inch scissors, removable rubber inserts (although I can’t get them out), hair comb, hair razor comb, scissors cleaning cloth, and they all fit into a zipped case. The case had a spot on the outside of the case, on the seam, already rubbed off and the zipper does not close smoothly. The scissors and razor comb came wrapped in plastic, but the hair comb did not. This isn’t the end of the world, but I thought that was weird. On one side there are two slots that look like they should fit a pair of scissors (the scissors was in one of them) and on the other side is the cleaning cloth and the hair comb. The razor comb was just placed in the middle and the section where the second pair of scissors would go doesn’t really hold the razor comb well. The scissors are comfortable in my hand, and they are sharp and cut well. With the low quality of the bag, the strange situation inside the bag, and the zipper not gliding smoothly this is not a set I would get again. But the cost for the scissors does look to be a decent price.
