This remote triggering system works very well. I have used these in tandem with a second set to control two remote flashes simultaneously. I have also used them to remotely trigger the camera's shutter. I have used cheaper remotes, and I find these to be superior.

I bought this as part of a Hahnel setup to catch falling drops. The flash would fire long before the shutter would open (and close) and despite their flashy demonstration videos I could NOT make it work. Several emails back and forth with Hahnel showed a lack of interest in their part to solve the problem. I returned the wireless remote and the trigger mechanism I'd purchased elsewhere.
