I feed a couple doves in my yard, they brought some pigeons. I fed them for years and would sometimes get as many as 22 pigeons eating the other seed. Then I bought this seed, as it's made for pigeons...the first day I fed it, there were 14 pigeons eating and then flew away. The second day I saw my usual 4 pigeons waiting to be fed, I threw a handful of this seed out and one of the pigeons flew up in the air and flew in a complete circle, this altered all the pigeons in a mile radius, I was suddenly overwhelmed with over 80 pigeons in my yard! This seed is so good, but it will bring the entire flock! I think I'm going to mix it with my prior seed, as it was too many pigeons and they scared away the doves. ... show more

I have a baby pie bald that I rescued in a hawk attack and this seed nutritionally has aided big time in his recovery. Good nutrition makes healthy birds and my baby has recovered from his injuries beautifully. I've got several mourning doves that visit my bird feeder & they seemed to dig round in the bird seed for the type of they preferred & they'd knock every other type of seed out of the feeder. I found out that a dove's favorite is white millet seed. I ordered a bag of this food & the doves eat all of it. They really seem to love this food & the price is reasonable. Well folks it was cold out and I saw this one pigeon looking for food.My old 73 year old heart felt sorry for him so I thought ill get him some food.Geez I didn't know he hadc143 buddies.Good lord i'll use it up but that's it.Iwent inside to make some coffee.I left the sliding glass door open so I'm making coffee look down and theres 4 of them looking up asking hey you comming back.They followed me back out.The park lady on home alone movie didn't have this many.Now they knock on the glass door as if to say old man you up.I mean it's gotta be a good product according to the pigeons. Now I watch them fight over it slapping the heck out of each other with there wings.OMG what have I created folks. That's it last bag. ... show more
