I'm writing this review based on the office chair's cut and fit. I just placed it over a year-old desk chair that began peeling months after its purchase. The cover's fabric has a soft and durable feel. The dimensions are accurate, fitting over my chair without sagging. The zippers on the right and left sides of the chair cover, as well as the one on the undersides of the armrests, allow for a snug fit. I can't yet comment on its durability or response to laundering, but have no reason to believe it won't stand up to that.

And I've tried quite a few chair covers that were almost identical to these. The price of these is comparable to others I have gotten. But still, I wish these chair covers didn't cost so much. But anyway, these particular ones are great in my opinion. And if you are someone who is getting one of these for the first time? As long as you make sure that the dimensions of your chair fall into the range that's required for one of these to fit it, then you should be plenty happy with it. Especially if your current office chair looks pretty beat up. Because these chair covers can give pretty much any office chair a second life. And as for the arm rest covers. They might not fit some office chairs in the way that some people would like them to, but each of the arm rest covers should be made up of enough material so that they can be altered to maybe make them work on different kinds of arm rests. But then again, maybe not. I just mean that, if they don't look right on your arm rests, mess around with them for a while. You might just wind up being able to make them look better to you.

The material is nice. The arms fit well. However, it could use about an inch more material around the back. That would have been nice. I had to get someone to hold the material in order to do the zipper up, which is located on the side of the seat. Definitely, air dry and wash in cold water on delicate cycle. It looks nice on the chair. I'd probably put something down if you're wearing jeans with rivets.

I have 6 old peeling chairs that are still usable with covers. A new kitten that plays 24/7 climbs all over everything and finished destroying the peeling surfaces. I decided that the most expensive covers would be the best starting approach, (but at only 28 buck each, a bargain), and I was right. I chose the color sage. The first 3 (of 6) are for around the kitchen table made an astonishing improvement! These old black office chairs had really taken over the kitchen dining area, but these sage seat covers amazingly brought the otherwise well-built chairs down to a nicely proportioned perspective, and the look fit perfectly as did the sizing of the covers as well! I'm really astonished at the improvements. I do wish the same manufacturer would have the same outstanding quality covers for the next size larger executive office chair, (I need two of those). They stretch perfectly, to fit, and "Miss Kitty" has tested them for durability with her very sharp claws! You would be as pleased as I am if you get them. UPDATE! Many months later, my kitten has grown full size and weight at 16 pounds. I make sure she is excersized several times a day by having her chase a toy at the end of an elastic tether, so she is all miscle, and still as heavy as she is, she climbs right up all these chairs with huge claws many times a day, and these covers take it well and still look new!! It is totally impressive how these chair covers are made to hold up to my unruly big cat!!
