Like many people, I ordered this lock to use in an escape room I was designing, and it worked out beautifully! I love the bright color and sturdiness. The kids thought it was pretty cool, too, and even the youngest was able to mess with it without breaking anything. Also like many, I did wish I could rearrange the letters rings, but I already knew that wasn't an option on this lock, and the locks that did allow that did not have as thoughtful a letter distribution on the rings, so they all have their limitations. Plus when the one I was sent had an issue, I reached out to the seller who remedied the situation immediately. So great lock and great customer service! Dial Knobs are ONLY on the word MATCH. That's all. I have other locks that "look" like this but have many more rows of letters that raised knobs giving you more options if you prefer an aligned WORD code.

I really like the sturdiness of this lock, but I didn't realize you can't make any word you want. The description states, "5 Dials Resettable Combo Offer 100000 Combinations,Easy to Set Your Own Password Combination." It should be clearer that rings CANNOT come off, and user is limited to specific letters, then list the letters on each ring. ... show more

Like the lock but just would have preferred that it wasn't so easy to change the password once unlocked. If someone knows the word, they can easily change the word to something else by just turning the handle. There are locks that require a key to use if you want to change the combination so that way you can control who changes the combination code. This is for an escape box so you can imagine how easy it would be for someone to just change the word after they open it with the correct word. Lock is easy to set the word you want. The lock is substantial and looks great but only worked for a year. It’s now stuck on our gate and the actual combination we chose doesn’t open it. There’s no one to troubleshoot this so I guess I have to figure how to cut it off
