This climbing rope is good for short length climbing practice. The weave is pretty tight, and the ends are well capped off with heat shrink. I did find the rope to be a little fibrous in my hands, brushing off little rope fibers each time I use it. This will likely slow or go away over time, but right now it’s still a little fresh. The hardware at the top is VEY heavy duty, but I’m not sure about the carabiner as it looks a little lite-duty in comparison. I just ended up using one of my other carabiners that’s rated for climbing, just for my own peace of mind. ... show more

This rope is excellent—comes ready to go with a secure loop at one end and a sealed plastic cap at the other to prevent fraying. I installed it at one of our project sites for gym use, and everyone there loves it. Super convenient and well made!
