Can WetCoat replace a ceramic coating? WetCoat provides short-term protection. It's not a replacement for a ceramic coating but is perfect for maintenance or standalone use. Do I need to dry the car before applying WetCoat? No, WetCoat is designed to be applied to a freshly washed, wet surface. How long does WetCoat last? A friend who does professional detailing turned me onto Gyeon products after I asked for input on car washing. The soap, the foam, and then also Wet Coat. It's not cheap, but looks like it got good reviews and was willing to try it. Car isn't ceramic coated, or even waxed in many years. So, washed it with my pressure washer and soaps (Foam for cannon, and Bathe for mitt). Then went through the process of Wet Coating (just spray on when panel is wet, then rinse off). I use way more than videos show (I think they show three sprays per panel, but I try to get even coverage). Then rinse off. Drying the car was way different right off the bat. Microfiber Drying towels usually had some drag to them. Also never was able to use the leaf blower method... after wet coat, MUCH less drag from towel. Car dried super fast and easy. Fast forward to today, over a month later. Car still looks freshly washed. Also got hit by some bird poo and a quick spray with the hose washed it right off. Cannot recommend enough. It does a great job, and tbh, I might actually say it's pound for pound better than wax. It won't add a deep gloss to car like wax or some other coatings, but it does give a nice shine, and definitely a slickness and protection. Durability-wise: after a month it still looks and behaves like new. And given how fast it is, I'll happily use it every time I wash. Only annoyance is applying it outside. Any breeze or wind you just watch your money blow away. If you can wash in a bay, definitely recommend. If you can't, try to wash and apply on a windless day. Also might say the 1L bottle is a little big when applying. Next time I buy I might buy a 500ml so I can refill the smaller bottle. ... show more

This has become one of my favorite detailing products. Spray it on a wet vehicle, rinse it off, and you’re done. It leaves incredible water beading, adds noticeable gloss, and takes almost no extra time. If you’re looking for an easy way to maintain ceramic protection, this is hard to beat. Pros: * Incredibly easy to apply. * Excellent water beading and hydrophobic performance. * Adds gloss and slickness instantly. * Great for maintaining ceramic-coated vehicles or protecting uncoated paint. * A little goes a long way. Cons: * You’ll run out because you’ll want to use it on every vehicle you own. I have GYEON MOHS EVO 2 as the main protection on my truck and use Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions on our van. I was skeptical at first, but this is a fantastic and easy to use topper. Very easy to apply and offers incredible gloss and beading. In under an hour I can 1. Spray Car with Turtle Wax Pure Wash in a Foam Cannon 2. Wash with Pressure Washer 3. You can either spray on wet surface then rinse or spray and then buffing off, it create a smooth surface like when you ceramic coating your car, not sure how long it will last but I can recommend just for the ease of using, abit on the expensive side though.

    • Left my truck grainy.

I washed my truck at 9am. In fact, it turned out to be a cloudy day that day, so the heat surely wasn’t a factor. I washed the car thoroughly, sprayed the solution while wet (using mist and not steam) section by section, rinsed it thoroughly. Again section by section. It was so thorough that I rinsed the whole truck three times! About three hours later, mist-size droplets from the solution started becoming visible across the truck, to include the windshield and passenger windows. You can definitely feel it and see it. I’ll definitely have to wash the truck again; hopefully they’re not too stubborn to remove. But definitely not recommended based on my experience. It doesn’t even deserve a star. ... show more

After the past 6 years of new car wash gimmicks and coatings to come out I happy to say that this exceeds the current choices in the marketplace. The product works, has a high quality spray nozzle, and is priced accordingly. All of the others are priced out of the market. This product I have used for 2 consecutive washes over the past 4 days on both vehicles and it’s fantastic. Yes, I did two washes per vehicle and used this product as directed. I was skeptical at first but now both bead water and do as described. Will it last for 6 months? No way it will but I will use it once a month and purchase more with pleasure. What else to say but two things (1) easy to apply exactly as their video on YT. (2) The result is an amazing glossy shine! I’m happy with the value for the price. I don’t know how durable it is yet, but according to what I’ve read it should last a while.
