I installed this carburetor on my poorly running Honda HHT35 trimmer. It started perfectly. I removed the top tiny plastic cap and slightly richened the mixture screw and then adjusted the idle speed and it runs better than new. I'm impressed with the carburetor!. I didn't use the gasket or fuel hoses. The gasket is too small. The factory gasket is larger to block hot air flow around the carb. The kit included a seperate fuel tank vent and hose. But that's not needed on a Honda because the tank is vented through the cap. I also didn't use the Hipa spark plug. I prefer NGK. But I'm still giving it 5 stars because the carb was all I needed it is perfect!

After 17 years of flawless service my Honda weed wacker suddenly would not go over 20% throttle without stalling. Tried all the usual fixes and then decided for $18 ill give this a try. Installation was super easy, just a couple bolts then plug & play. Started right up and after adjusting the idle it's running like brand new again. Don't know how long this will last but for $18 (Jan 2024) i'm super happy right now. I was worried the problem was internal like a cracked block or worn piston rings, something causing a compression loss. I didn't want to spend much on a carb to find out that wasn't the problem. This is one of those times when a cheap, made in China product is exactly what's needed! Bonus, I only installed the carb and air filter. All the extra items will save even more when those need replaced in the future.

I bought this carb kit and it’s a very good fit for my HSS25S Honda string trimmer. All the parts fit exactly, except for the fuel container stopper but I was able to reuse the old one. No biggie. Came with 2 Primer bulb, new gasket and a new foam carb filter. Runs like a champ again.

The carb comes in pieces and the many of the pieces didn't match the carb on my Honda GX25 Mantis 4 cycle Tiller. There were no directions so I was forced into trial and error assembly. Example: My carb has two fuel hoses with a two hole gas tank grommet but the unit I received had three hoses and a three hole grommet. The gaskets were different sizes. The fuel filter was different and the two alternate filters provided didn't match the original. In the end the machine didn't operate any better than it did before I completed the install and I have to take it to the lawnmower shop.
