  • Perfect fit
They worked great on my John Deer 235 zero turn mower, fit perfect !

  • Fits my John Deere E130
These 'Gator Style' mulching blades were 21 3/8" long and 2 1/2" wide, so they are exactly the same length as my original lawn mower blades and fit on my John Deere E-130 lawn tractor. With this style you get a bigger 'mulch' flow under the deck, so I am using them in the early Spring, when my lawn is the thickest and again in the Fall, when I have leaves to mulch up. In between, I will use my standard smooth style mulching blades, with less flare angle on the back side of the blade. Installation is simple and this has the same star pattern in the middle to fit snugly onto the spindle, before you reattach the washer an nut, so it's again, exactly like my original blades to take off and install. I have a decent mower lift, so I can just get the mower up in the air, wrench the blades and let it back down in a short amount of time, without going through the long procedure of removing the deck and reinstalling it, as I see some people do. These blades are heavy and accurate in size, so as long as you have the 42 inch deck and they match your original blades, these are a great style blade to utilize for some serious mulching! ... show more

  • Cost effective alternative
Needed blades for out LT166. Saw these which are way more cost effective than the OEM blades. We go thru them as we mow a very large lot. Lots of small branches and small limbs that are just too many to try to pick up. That does eat up blades. These have worked well.

  • Solid Fit and Great Cutting Performance
These mulching blades were a perfect fit on my John Deere D110 and installed without any issues. Everything lined up exactly like the factory blades, which made the swap quick and straightforward. The cutting performance has been great. They mulch grass evenly and leave the yard looking clean without clumps or uneven patches. Even with slightly thicker grass, they hold up well and keep a consistent cut. The build quality feels solid and heavy duty compared to worn out originals. After several uses, they are still holding a sharp edge and showing no signs of premature wear. I also noticed improved mulching compared to my old blades, with finer clippings that break down better into the lawn. Overall, these are a reliable replacement that fit well and perform exactly as expected. ... show more

  • Fresh mower blades are one of those boring upgrades that actually matter
Nothing about mower blades is exciting until the lawn suddenly looks better and you realize the old ones were basically chewing instead of cutting. This blade category is consistently tied to 42-inch John Deere decks and replacement numbers like GX22151, GY20850, AM137333, and related part numbers, which is the kind of compatibility info that matters way more than flashy marketing. The toothed mulching style is what makes these useful because it chops clippings finer, which helps with cleaner mowing and better mulching performance. New blades also make the mower feel like it got its attitude back. The cut looks cleaner, the clumps are reduced, and the whole yard looks more even. This is one of those maintenance items people put off too long, and then the difference is immediate once it’s done. Not exciting, but absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • Heavy‑Duty Mulching Blades That Perform Extremely Well
These mulching blades fit my John Deere LA115 42" two‑blade mower perfectly, and they perform incredibly well for the price. They’re made from heavy steel, feel solid in the hand, and the cutting edges look great right out of the box. After a quick test run over some old leaves and short grass, they showed minimal wear and produced a clean, even mulch without bogging down or leaving clumps behind. For this price point, these are some of the best mulching blades I’ve come across — durable, efficient, and clearly built to handle regular mowing and leaf cleanup. Bottom line (Would I recommend it?) Absolutely. Perfect fit, strong build quality, and excellent mulching performance make these a 5‑star upgrade for the LA115. ... show more

  • Great mulching blades for my John Deere LA135 rider
Perfect mulching blades for my John Deere LA135 42" / two blade mower. These are some of the best mulching blades I have used. They are a heavy steel and stay sharp for a long time as long as you don't use a grinder. I have found out the blades stay harder and sharper without chipping when you sharpen them with a hand file. That way it doesn't heat up the metal and make the steel brittle. For best effect, use a mulching cover over your deck instead of a standard side chute. You want to keep the grass blades within the mower deck as long as possible for the best mulching. ... show more

  • Good fit for our John Deere LA 135
The media could not be loaded. My John Deere LA135 riding mower has a 42 inch cutting deck that requires two blades, so I was very pleased to find these sold as a matching set. They fit perfectly and were a direct replacement for the originals. We mow about two acres on our farm, and I typically need to sharpen the blades after every five or six mowings. Having a second set in rotation is extremely convenient; I can quickly swap blades and get the mower back up and running without downtime. I also like the aggressive tooth twist design of these mulching blades. I’ve used a similar style on another mower and noticed fewer grass clumps, especially when cutting longer grass. These blades perform similarly and provide a clean, consistent cut. The overall finish and construction met my expectations. While the blades are slightly thinner than the OEM John Deere blades, and I don’t expect them to last quite as long, they are priced significantly lower. In my opinion, they offer excellent value for the money. Overall, I’m very satisfied with these lawn mower blades and would order them again. ... show more
