Comparison of the 4-foot GVM BD45r to many other long tube lights I own and or have used (Astera Titan, Godox TL120, Quasar, Nano) --it is part of GVM's new PRO series --far more metal than any other tube light --the main mount has both 3/8 and 1/4 threads, and this mount can be slid along the long metal grove to change position --metal 1/4 mounting threads at both ends --ability to use npf batteries is far better than an internal battery. Must have two charged batteries installed. --comes with an AC power supply --more light output than the others --much stronger build than the others, makes the other brands feel flimsy and breakable --plenty of special effects such as lightning and cop car --full white light range and RGB --comes with a more than adequate carry case --I used a 13291 Modern babypin receiver to 3/8 adapter to mount it from above --1/4-20 metal threads at both ends accept eyehooks as to help comply with studio safety wire requirements --fully adjustable via GVM app on phone Summary: it is a better choice than my prior favorite, the Godox; the Godox is still great but for a little more cost the heavy-duty build plus npf-use makes the BD45r a great studio light. If I could only own one it would be the GVM.

Questionable product on arrival. Customer support at the factory has poor communications, lack of comprehension. I would suggest going with another company that's been in business for longer and has a solid reputation with a stronger track of success.

My Sister bought 2 of these as a gift for me and now and very disappointed that both of the lights have issues, one tube the light flickers in the middle like its a bad led and the other one the LEDs on the bottom 1/4 of the tube don’t even light up fully.. very disappointed and nothing I can do but leave this review so others can avoid

I got this light tube on the last minute for a gig. And after a few days of using this light tube, I feel it is very well build. Don't get me wrong Nanlite are still superb, but this tubes color and brightness is not bad at all. A definite keeper for me!
