Easy to use, both my kids (5 and 2) really liked them. My only concern is the writing "pen' just dangles. There should be a spot/place where it can clip in. But otherwise, great tablets!

I am a life long to-do list maker/note taker and I have always loved these little doodle pads. They are generally geared towards kids, but that hasn't stopped me from picking up a few for myself. I actually like that this one has rainbow colors instead of the normal dull pea green. It adds a little life to a to-do list and is probably more fun for children. Yes, it is true that these are not super bright! But none of these are and it is just not part of the technology of these products. It does not personally bother me since a desk lamp is more than adequate lighting to see what is on my list. However, keep that in mind when purchasing and take a look at other customer images to be sure this is the right tool for you (or toy for your kiddo). My favorite part: I love the lock feature so my notes do not get accidentally deleted. I have leaned on these before and been grateful for this feature, or sad when I realized I had not put it in the locked setting :/ My least favorite part: The holster for the pen at the base feels a little tricky for the pen removal. It feels like if I moved it wrong or tugged too fast, I might break the pen nib. It may just be me. The upside to this is the company provides a lengthy cord to keep the pen attached to the pad. So, basically, I just use that to be safe and don't shove the pen in its holster. I will also never lose the pen this way. The bad news is, now I have to get a second one because I am in love with doodling on the first one and will need another for making my lists on ;)

This is a great way to entertain kids on car rides, or waiting rooms. It doesn't make a mess, or require Wi-Fi. They can play tic tac toe, hangman, or pictionary without any mess or extra stuff required. A great gift for people with young kids.
