So far this seems like a good quality dog house. Only rated it four stars bc when ordering a new dog house I’d expect it to look new. Came with a decent amount of damage to the wood but I was still able to assemble it. PVC curtain that comes with this does not fully cover the entrance. Other than that everything else minus the floor board gap seems to have a good seal to keep elements out.

The doghouse is a kit. Takes two people to put together. Fairly straightforward. Some of the wooden parts showed up split or cracked. Some Staples were sticking out or popped out completely on the inside panels. I repaired it the best I could and put it together. Put additional mounting plates to toughen it up. It would have been a big hassle to box it back up and return. Decided to repair it and keep it. Two German Shepherd puppies are using it. They enjoy it.

First off this is not Amazon’s fault but FedEx was the delivery carrier first they delivered it to the wrong house then when they finally went and picked it up and brought it to my home they left it outside in the rain even though we were home at the time. The box arrived looking as if it had been through World War III several of the pieces had chips and gouges in them but at this point we just stuck with it treated those sections so the weatherproofing would hold rather than send it back because it was such a nightmare getting it in the first place. No the assembly the directions are pretty straightforward but there’s only a few preset drills and lining the lid so it’s straight and even is rather difficult. It’s relatively inexpensive so it’s worth the money but because FedEx does not care about your packages.

The size is really good, and the hinges top is handy. The construction however is rather flimsy. It comes as “panels” that you have to put together. It wasn’t too hard, although it would have been easier with two people. There was a nasty chemical smell to it however. I actually let it air out for a few days before using it, but it still lingers when the top is opened even after half a year of sitting in the garage kennel. It definitely keeps the warmth in, and the dogs like it for hiding, although I had to take out the little interior wall. They also like jumping on top of it, so make sure they can’t jump your fence that way! I doubt I would buy it again, but it’s serving it’s purpose for now.

The dog house arrived with parts already damaged. I didn't want to send it back cos I thought is just a dog house but I should have sent it back cos after 2 months the house is falling a part.

The item arrived damaged, even though the packaging didn’t appear to be damaged. It looks like a small amount of pressure caused the thin material to break. The alignment of it isn’t prefect so there is a gap in the flooring. My dog loved to hop on top of her house and the top seems pretty flexible not sure it will hold up for too long. My dog shares a larger dog house with another dog in the months she isn’t in heat so this was a quick fix for the colder months coming up. I wouldn’t purchase this again and could have built one for cheaper that is better quality which I will be doing when this one falls apart.
